Sunday

Friends, coffee, cake and Stampin Up - perfect

I hope that all those celebrating Mother's Day have a lovely time and those that aren't celebrating, have a great day whatever you decide to do. Today is a bit of a sad day for me being Mother's Day and not having the girls with me so I am going to have a me day and go into town to do some shopping and get some fresh air, which I really need after being at home for the past few days.

I had some friends round over the weekend and we had lots of coffee and lots of cakes. Of course we have been having a play with some of the new stamps that will be available from 1 April as well as the new oval punches. Here are just some of the creations that were made.

What a creative bunch, dont you agree?

For Lesley

Lesley hope these are the ones that you wanted me to put on the blog

Saturday

Cheers

Feeling a lot better today so will attempt the food shopping, not a job I enjoy, does anyone? Also got to nip out to take mums cards for tomorrow and deliver a couple of birthday cards. Thats my morning taken care of.

Here is a thank you card that I was asked to make for a man. I think I will be doing a few more of this as they will come in handy.

Friday

Messy Rabbit

Been a bit poorly this week, got the lurgy. Thankfully I managed to sleep all night last night so feel a lot better today.

I have had quite a few commissioned cards recently, here is the footballer one for a youngster. I used Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit paper and stamp set.

It took quite a few attempts to get it right but I am happy with this one.

Thursday

Stunner's from Paula

Here are a couple of cards that has been made by Paula. So clean, crisp and wonderful. What do you think?

Wednesday

Printer Cartridges

These printer cartridges are becoming a real pain in my life. I have so many of them that they have got to go at silly prices because I need the space. They are taking up valuable crafting storage space. I have taken pictures of them because if you are like me, I usually know what cartridge I need by looking at the box.

If you would like to take any of these off my hands, please get in touch tracey.rossos2@hotmail.com

These are for Epson Printers C70, C80, C 82, CX5100, CX5200 and CX5400 The cost for a set of 4 (yellow, cyan, magenta and black) is £5.00 Sorry about the picture being the wrong way up.

These are £5.00 for the set of 3 (black x 2 per box and 1 colour) for Epson printers 900/980

This is for an older Epson printer 1200 at a cost of £2.00

And finally

This is for Epson 800 and 1520, black cartridge for a cost of £2.00

Tuesday

Monday

Wayhay a new mini catalogue from Stampin Up

Yep its here and how exciting it is. 23 fantastic pages of new goodies, now who was saying last week that SU needed a top up. I just need £397.95 to purchase all the things that I love in it and thats before I go to the NEC.

The mini catalogue runs from 1 April - 30 September so plenty of time to get stocked up. If you click on the front page of the catalogue it will take you to a pdf file that will show you all the new ribbons, buttons, papers and stamps and the colour combinations WOW.

If you would like one of these mini catologues in the flesh, just let me know. Stamperettes will be getting one, with compliments, in their March orders along with another little surprise.

I am off to NEC on Thursday and cant wait, I have been looking forward to it for quite a while.

THATS NOT ALL THAT IS ON OFFER IN MARCH

This fantastic offer for all the chipboard lovers out there, I could name
a few but I wont. More details can be found on the right had side of my
blog. Just click on that image.

March certainly is a good month for the bargins.

Thanks for stopping by

Friday

Friday and the weekend is here

Yipppeee, my weekend started early. Not at work today but working hard at home. Decreasing being done as it comes out the washer, this is a first but makes life easier.

We have the Derby Dabblers meeting tonight, something I am really looking forward to. Its so nice to catch up with everyone and all the ladies are such a friendly group. The theme tonight is flowers/girly for mums day of course. Also the opportunity to make some more femine cards. I think we will be having a go with triple embossing also. Will put the results of our evening on my blog tomorrow.

Here is yet another card that I have made for Mother's Day.

Thursday

Terrific Thursday

Where has the day gone, I have been so busy that it has just flown by. Started off with a cuppa with sis this morning and a sale to two outlets.

Hectic at work that I didnt realise it was time to come home?

Got an evening of cleaning, putting inserts in and hopefully some time to chill. Here is one of the mother's day cards that will go to either my mum or Paul's mum.

Thank you for looking

Wednesday

Mother's Day cards

Another busy day at the office, phew. I was hoping that I would come home to a Stampin Up order but no, not today. Lets hope it arrives tomorrow as I would like to give all the goodies out on Friday at the Dabblers evening.

Mother's Day is still a couple of weeks away but I have started working my way through all the orders I have.

Its a good job too as I have just been asked to supply another outlet and.....an order for 20 cards has come in. Guess who is going to be a crafting all hours of the day and night for the rest of the week.

Here's my latest Daffy. I have had it for a while but just not had the opportunity to play.

Thanks for looking

Tuesday

My latest craft essential

Here is a picture of my latest craft essential. How did I ever manage without one before?

I have emptied 3 other tubs into this and as it swivels round, I can find everything straight away. I am not hunting for the tweezers, rubber, paintbrush, sticky stuff nor pencils anymore. At a cost of £17.00 it is the best investment that I have made for a long time.

If you fancy one, let me know cause I am just about to order another one for my marvey's and other people have asked for them too. I am also considering ordering one to take to workshops with all my SU bits and pieces in to put in the centre of each table.

Catching up

with it all.

Have been rather creative over the last few days but still got the cards from the last workshop to share with you.

We made 6 cards throughout the day. Two I have already put on my blog so here are the remaining four.
This took the longer time to make and I must admit, it was my favourite. I hope to making a few more like this, when I get five minutes.

I loved making this card, so different to what I normally do.

I have never been a great fan of using acetate for cards as I always smudge the ink and ruin it. Amazingly enough no smudges on this.
A lovely bright coloured card which was fun to make.

I can certainly recommend this workshop to anyone who fancies a day of crafting

Monday

A busy Monday

Not only was I busy at work today but have been extra busy this evening. Paul came home (he works away quite a bit), so it was tea early, clean up the kitchen and get on to the computer first. When Paul is here he tends to hog the computer but not tonight.

I have been doing the dreaded inserts. Is it only me that hates this job. I can sit and create cards all day every day but inserts YAK. I had been printing directly onto the card before decorating but oooppss, I forgot to do that yesterday.

I have got to start a new section on my blog for awards. Thank you to everyone who has sent these to me over the last couple of weeks, I hope to display them and send them on this week. This is another work/homelife balance that I am struggling with at the minute. Computers, card making and a full time job.

I was hoping to put some pictures up to show you what I have been up to but, the camera ran out of battery power, typical.

Instead I will show you some of the fantastic cards made at the last dabblers meeting which I havent yet had chance to put on my blog.

Thank you ladies for letting me show your amazing cards. Hope that they inspire all that have a look at them

Thanks for having a look at my blog and I love to read your comments, so please do leave one.
