Sunday

Good morning and what an early start for a Sunday.  Up before 5am, to do list written and looking forward to a day of bitting and bobbing.  Lots of little things to do today and as hubby said he would cook lunch, I thought I would make the most of the day.

I am still deleting photos, updating folders and putting everything in order on the computer.  Its been quite a few months that I have been doing this and I still cant see the light at the end of the tunnel.  I do know it is worth doing as we go back to look for old photos so often and I can put my hands straight on them.  I am considering the possibility of having a photo book or two made, just considering.

There is only today, tomorrow and Tuesday to grab the Stampin' Up! starter kit at the amazing value during the sale a bration offer.  More details are below but for £99 you get to pick £170 worth of products.  If you wanted to get in touch with me today to find out more, please do.

I had another play with the Vintage Tools stamp set, are you fed up of this yet?

I stamped directly on to Sahara Sand card with Early Espresso ink.  The card base is also Early Espresso, with a mat around the image in the same colour.  I teamed this up with Texture Chic papers again, boy are these papers wonderful.  There is something for every season, every occasion and for both ladies and gents projects.  I shall have to get myself another pack before they run out.

Thank you for having a read today, I am off to get ready for a busy but wonderful Sunday.  Tracey x

More masuline makes

Good morning, up at 4.30am today due to pain in my knee.  I have had this pain previously and its arthritis.  Hopefully it isnt with me for too long but its one of those things that hurts if I sit down as I  get stiff and hurts if I walk around and liable to give way. So therefore today will just be a slow and steady day.

The 'to do' list is ready and not too much on there which is a good job.  We (the royal we) are decorating the kitchen.  We have had lots of cracks in the plasterwork appear so its time to get them repaired and the whole room repainted.  I am not changing the colour, just freshening it all up.

Here is another card that I have made with the Vintage Tools stamp set from Stampin' Up!

It is called a Book Bind fold and I have added some Faux Suede ribbon in Early Espresso sticking it into the fold.  I stamped the image on Very Vanilla card and die cut it out using the Stylish Shapes dies, one of the most useful dies I have ever owned.  I teamed the image up with the He's the Man Designer Series Papers again, these really are great value for money.    The stamp set says 'you're plain awesome' but I didnt like the word awesome.  I took the word 'wonderful' from another stamp set and just tucked it underneath the other half of the sentiment, I think it works well.  I have listed everything I used at the end of this post.

I shall be placing an order tomorrow for a few small items to stock up on and if you would like to add to this order, please do get in touch before 9am.  Collection will be from The Craft Room in Alvaston and postage is just 70p for the whole order, no matter how small or how large.  My contact details are below.

This Friday is our Derby Dabblers get together.  It would be great to see you if you fancied coming along.  I know a few ladies have said they have crafting items they no longer and would like to to donate them to the Dabblers, well I am happy to accept all items this Thursday if you would like to drop them off to The Craft Room.

Thank you for having a read today and I hope your have a terrific Tuesday.  Tracey x

Masculine Makes with Vintage Tools

Good morning and phew, its a tad warm again this morning, what a difference.

I have been struggling this week with artheritis symptoms.  Because I had the Covid Vaccine last week, I dont have my artheritis one.  The side effects of having them both was awful and at least this way the Covid Vaccine gets chance to get into my system before I start knocking it all out of sync.  It does mean that the artheritis comes back with a vengence so my knees, one shoulder and my hands are causing havoc today.  I am doing everything a lot slower but at least I can potter and try to get things done, especially in the garden.

I managed to make this card using the Vintage Tools earlier this week.  Teamed it up with He's The Man Series Designer Papers and Cajun Craze coloured card. Everything that I have used is at the bottom of this post, so you can click on it and have a look in more detail.

It is a great set of stamps for masculine makes.  I do have a couple more cards in the stages of being completed and will share those will you as soon as they are finished.

Do you fancy a Card Making class this week?

If you would like to come along please, do get in touch, all my details are below.

Just 10 days left to get your hands on some FREE sale a bration items from Stampin' Up! and an offer of the Stampin' Up! joining kit
