Saturday

Saturdays Christmas Paper Share

Good morning.   The weekend arrived and Paul and I have a little list we are working down.  We have found that we need this list otherwise we go off track and dont get things done that need doing, it must be an age thing.

What another lovely evening last night was with the Friday night crafting ladies.  There has certainly been quite a lot of crafting going on this last month in The Craft Room and it has been wonderful to see so many friends and catch up with what everyone has been up to.

I have had a few requests for half packs of 12 x 12 Christmas papers so if you would like to share any of the following (half price) please do let me know by 6pm today so that I can get them ordered for you.

Here are some more cards that I have finished off and are now in the box for the next set of birthdays.

Determined to use up papers, card and other pretty embellishments before the year is out.

The next group of Stampin' Up! Stamperettes is going to start on 28th October.  If you are interested in this, would like more information or fancy a chat about it please get in touch.

The last 18 groups have all worked out very well and I am really excited to start this one too.

Oops I had best get a wiggle on, it is Saturday after all.  Thank you for having a read and I hope you have a fantastic weekend.  Tracey x

Friday

Friday Wine Card

Good morning and that Friday feeling has certainly returned today.  I am up early with Paul as he has to go to work but he has had a lovely couple of days off and we have managed to get quite a few bits and pieces sorted, the weather helped too.  I believe Mr. Weatherman has just said it is going to be nice and sunny again today but not as hot.

Tonight I have a crafty get together so am looking forward to seeing everyone.  Dont forget the swaps.  I am making a Bakewell and this will be my last for a while, I would like to master another English cake but not decide what.

I am not sure if I have shared this card with you or not.

The colours have not turned out correctly on the photograph of this card, whether that is because the sunlight was shining through the door or I just need to take my time a bit more, I dont know.  I have used the stamp a ma jig on this to get it right and loved the way it turned out.  Inspired by pintrest, arent we all?

As I am finishing my cards off (insert, glitter, sentiment etc.) I am taking photos to share over the next couple of weeks. Christiana is due to be here so my time will become limited again.  I am getting ahead of the game, get me.

Well I shall go and look at the next box of nearly finished cards and finish them off as I can.   Thank you for having a read and wishing you a fantastic Friday.  Tracey x

P.S.  If anyone would like anything ordering from Stampin' Up! I shall be placing an order very soon.  Do get in touch if you dont already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator to help you.  x

Thursday

A blast from the past

Good morning and I certainly feel more human today.  I have caught up on the missing hours sleep from Tuesday night.  Christiana is now awaiting blood test results to see what to do next.  We are hoping that all is well, it was a serious tummy bug and that she can go back to the apartment and pack to come home next week.  Fingers crossed.  Thank you to everyone for you wishes it really is appreciated.

So, a blast from the past

I am not too sure how many of my wonderful crafting friends will remember making this card way back when with the very talented Rachel in Elvaston.  It must be over 12 years and as you can tell, my sort out of the craft room is on going.  Such a pretty card to go into the thank you box.

We have a date to make the wonderful candle boxes with Diane.  Thursday 18th October 7pm for a couple of hours.  If you are interested please get in touch and I will let you know what to bring.

Thank you for having a read today and I hope you have a terrific Thursday.  I am doing lots of bits and bobs (as I can) and getting the craft room ready for tomorrow nights get together.  If you are in the area, would like to collect your SU goodies please do call in.  It would be appreciated.

Wednesday

Dianes Tealight Boxes

Good afternoon and what a glorious day it has been weather wise today.  The sun has been out for most of the day and so Paul has taken the opportunity to check all the gutters and wash things down.  We dont want any misshaps in the coming rainy season.

I would like to share these wonderful cute boxes that Diane has created using a mixture of current and retired Stampin' Up! goodies with her new scoreboard.

They are big enough to hold tea lights and she is well ahead of the game by having her Christmas presents for work colleagues all ready.

Thank you for letting me share them Diane.  If you would like to know how she did these, I will try and get some instructions for you.  Or we could have a craft day and make them in The Craft Room one Saturday morning, just let me know if you fancy this and I will arrange it.

I am sad to say that Christiana is currently in hospital in Cyprus.  She took very ill last night and was rushed in but we believe that it could be a tummy bug /food poisoning type of illness.  She will have more tests tomorrow and then they can let us know.  She is still hoping to travel home on Tuesday depending on what the tests show.  I was up most of the night on the phone, facebook etc. etc. and her sisters looked after her really well.  I will keep you updated.

Off to make that cuppa and get a bit more fresh air.  Thanks for having a read and wishing you a lovely evening.  Tracey xx

Tuesday

Picture Perfect Tuesday

Good morning.  It was only 3 degrees last night and I certainly felt the cold this morning but that isnt a complaint.  I do like it quite fresh.    Mr. weather man said we are due to have a temperature of around 15 degrees today so I will try and turn my hand at a bit of gardening, just doing what I can.

Yesterday was a pure ME day.  Sophia says that I need these rather often so I am listening to her.  I certainly feel better for it.  I had a wander around town, made a couple of purchases and I think it is called a mouch?  Well I enjoyed it and can recommend it.

Here is a card that was given out to my nieces other half at the weekend. He is a young man who is in his early 30's and each year I make a football themed card but not this time.   On this one I have used lots of different autumn colours with elements from the stamp set Picture Perfect, which really is a must have.

I will try to do a girly version over the next day or two (pinks, purples and pretty blues).  If you would like to come over to have a go making one yourself when I do this, please let me know.

Christiana will be here this time next week.  We are not sure how long she will stay for as she does suffer so much in the cold weather.  We will just take one day at a time and plan to do as much as we can whilst she is with us.  It is her birthday this weekend but we shall celebrate next week.  She gets two celebrations this year, a bit like the queen.

Paul will be here later today and again, I dont know how long he will be here for either.  Work is rather busy at the moment for him.  He will have a couple of day off work so he can have lazy mornings, relaxing in the conservatory and catch his breath.

Well I had best do a few chores as I would like to go in the craft room to finish off some more cards that just need that glitter adding (didnt do it yesterday).

Thank you for having a read and I hope you have a terrific Tuesday. Tracey x

Animal Outing on a Make Room Monday

Good morning and I hope you are wrapped up warm today.  It is only 5 degrees at 8am although the sun is shining brrrr.  That is quite a big drop in temperature, no wonder I stayed under my covers for an extra couple of hours.

Have you had a good weekend, I do hope so.  I did, despite Paul still being away.  We (me and lots of lovely ladies)  had a crafty get together on Saturday and I saw friends I havent seen for months. The afternoon was spent with mum and dad and mum had a good day which was lovely.   Yesterday I caught up with even more folk over tea, coffee and juice throughout the day and feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends in my life.  I am very lucky.  The evening was a "finishing off" one and I managed to complete over 40 cards.  They needed an insert or an envelope or an embellishment and it was so satisfying and not so time consuming.  Oh I have a lot more to finish off but it is my plan to get them all done before the end of the month.  Today I shall be glittering so be warned.

I am not sure if I have shared the cards that were made a couple of months ago with the Animal Outing set so here they are, (if I did opps sorry)

It is a great set for all ages, both boys and girls and over 20 of us loved using them.  You can colour them in with the Stampin' Blends or watercolour pencils and even the ink taken from inkpad lids. I would be really happy to show you how we made these if you are interested.  Just get in touch and we can arrange to meet up if you are local to Derby.  If you are not, I am happy to meet you somewhere over a cuppa and I will bring the crafting supplies with me.

I am on a mission with my MAKE ROOM MONDAY this afternoon by adding retired papers, paper packs, stacks and other sheets to the sales table.  If you are local, fancy a cuppa and a browse please feel free to call in. I hope to be in the craft room from 3pm for the rest of the day.

Thank you for having a read this morning.  Wishing you a wonderful day.  Tracey x

If you do not already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator local to you, please do feel free to contact me as I am always happy to help whether you live close by or not.

Fridays Birthday

Good morning and brrr it is a cold one today, certainly fresh outside.  I think that Summer may be leaving us.  And rain, goodness me.  It rained so much last night and all my Thursdays Treasures got wet through coming into the craft room.  Mind you the heating was soon on and we all had rosy cheeks.

Here is a card I made for birthday girl, Yvonne.  I hope you have a smashing day.  The bonus was that we even managed to grab half an hour to chatter in the conservatory, where it was nice and toasty.

Wishing you a lovely Friday and thank you for having a read.  Tracey x

Thursday

Healing Hugs on Thursday

Good morning and according to the weather man, it will be a wet and windy day.  I know we have had some rain in the night as I heard it but it is supposed to be warm too.

This was made recently and I love it.

I saw something similar on the internet and it was one of those cards that just appealed to me to with such pretty colours of crushed curry and smokey slate.

Lots and lots more bits and pieces have been added to the sales dresser.  I am quite sad to see a lot of stamps go but I havent used them for quite a while and it is a shame to leave them sitting there on the shelves so, if you fancy a browse, I am in the craft room from 10 - 12 this morning.  Kettle is always on.

It is crafty night tonight and I am so looking forward to seeing my Thursdays Treasures.  Bakewell tart (no. 3) is just about ready and of course a few little lemon cakes too.

Thank you for having a read and wishing you a great day.  Tracey x
