Balloon Builders

Good morning, a cooler day is forcast today, which is good. The plans for the day are, urmmmm, oh there arent any. I must admit that i am struggling slightly with this, not doing anything, it is just so alien to me.

We went out for a drive yesterday and had a wander around Ayia Napa. Amazed at how many signs, posters, advertising etc. are all in Russian and not so much English. The scenery of the cosst line and the views are still amazing though.

Here are a few cards from the baloon builders stamp set on page 60 of the catalogue. Anither set on my wish list.

I hope to catch up with all my friends blogs today,  send a few emails and update the blog.....if the internet allows me to as it isnt very good here.  Not  a complaint though as a few years ago we had to purchase internet access.

Thanks for having a read and wishing you a lovely day x

Tuesday

Tuesdays twitter

Good morning, up early today as the birds twittering woke me.
The girls drove down last night to watch the match with Paul. We booked a nice taverna to sit and eat and then thought we would watch the game. Paul and i got there early, had a drink, waiting for girls and i looked outside to see millions, and i mean millions of moths, insects, mosquitos. Then the smell....the owner and staff were spraying insect killer, cans of it everywhere so then we started chocking. We couldnt stay there so paul and i left and we went to a favourite place of ours and met the girls there. A shame that England didnt play better to go through to the next round.
I am placing Stampin' Up! Orders today. The new stamperette group orders are also due.  If there is anything you would like me to get for you, please get in touch. There are lots of wonderful things in the new catalogue.
There are a couple of days left for you to sign up with me too.  For £99 you not only get £130 worth of SU kit that you choose, you also get an additional 2 free stamp sets so this is a great offer.  Please let me know if you would like a little more information.
Here is a card using one if the new stamps

Thanks for having a read and wishing you a great day x

Saturday

Sunny saturday

Good morning from a very hot and sunny cyprus. We are off to the local shop this morning as i have 9 for dinner this evening.  I will be in the pool for most of the afternoon though.

It is almost time to place the first stamperette order and for everyone in the pen club to get ready for their first set of pens.

If you could get in touch by email by 28th to let me know what you would like for your first order that would be great.

If anyone would like to share a bundle this month and next month, do let me know.  It will mean that you get the stamps or die this month and then get the other half of the set next month. I have had one request for the floral boutique suite (page 77). If you would like the other half of this set, please email me..

Here is a lovely card made with a hostess set called gift oflove which has been watercoloured and cut out.  The lovely sparkly wink of stella has also been used.

Monday

Merry Monday 25 (posted on a Monday morning too)

Good morning and another damp Monday.  The forecast is for warm and sunny late this afternoon so I shall keep my fingers crossed that this is the case.  We have a little more weeding to do this week before we go on our jollies.

As usual for  a Monday, here is another Christmas card we received, this time from Noelle

Thank you Noelle it is lovely.
I think I only have another couple of cards left to show you and then it is the count down to Christmas with the ones I have made for this year.

What a smashing weekend we have had babysitting the grand children.  Friday started off with fish and chips and a movie.  Saturday we did "the walk" with maps, decorated stones and lots of enthusiasm at Elvaston castle and Sunday we went on a canal boat ride to Willington followed by lunch out and then, the weekend was over.

Oh, we did make some little notebooks too.  Grandad had to go to B&Q so the girls went with him to choose the covers (wallpaper samples) of their books.

I still have the last remaining place for the Pen Club.  As soon as this is filled we can get the pens the 12 x 12's, the ribbons, the brads and everything else.  £20 a month for 6 months and includes the price of catalogues and 3 classes using your new pens.

I best get a wiggle on and get myself into the office before yet another visit to the doctors.......Thanks for having a read and have a wonderful Monday, despite the rain.

Saturday

Smashing Saturday

Good morning.  The grandchildren are loving their sleep over so far.  Last night they went into the loft with grandad for an hour, then we had a furniture party in the sitting room to change it all around to make room for the air bed.  They were all asleep by 10pm and today up at 7.30am.

We did have one incident last night.  It seems that a couple of fellas left the pub at the end of the road rather annoyed.  They got half way down the street (outside our house) and decided to have a glass throwing competition, throwing the glasses at each other and shouting but one of the glasses hit the front door and shattered all over the front garden. As usual I was fast asleep but Christiana who was awake was very frightened and woke us up.  Well the argument outside went on for a long time but we had called the police, along with several other neighbours and they were soon here, blue lights flashing.  We could do without that, especially as it took me over an hour to try and clean up the glass this morning.

The stamperettes group is full, YEAH.  I will be sending emails out to everyone to let you know what happens next.

There is still one place left in the pen club.  These pens can be used instead of ink pads and the co-ordinate with all the SU colours perfectly.  It is a great chance to purchase these at a reduced rate, get your catalogues free of charge and attend 3 classes on how to use the pens.

Please get in touch if you would like a little more information.

It is my nephews birthday today and here is the card I made him.

I do hope he likes it

Right, off to catch an hour in the craftroom as grandad is taking the girls to B&Q.  They are going to get some wallpaper to cover notebooks later.

Have a great day, thanks for having a read and please do give me a call if you would like to take the final place in the pen club.

Thursday

Happy Birthday Mum

More rain forecast for today, who else feels that they have webbed feet?  On the other foot though (excuse the pun), the grass, trees and plants are looking wonderful and growing so quickly.

It was mums birthday earlier this week and this is the card that I made for her, it does say mum on the front but we didnt capture that in the photograph.

I do hope she liked it.  She is away on the East coast at the moment and we dont know when she will be back.  I got a frantic phone call from her on Sunday to say that her front door was wide open and could we go round to have a look, yikes.  So Paul and I went over, went in quietly and has a look in all the rooms.  Nothing had been disturbed at all.  We went over to the neighbour who told mum that the door was ajar and after calling out to mum and dad, were concerned, so she rang mum.  It seems that mum and dad walked out of their house on Friday morning, left the door ajar and it wasnt until Sunday that anyone noticed.  I think I may have to move up to that area as it is soooo safe.  tut tut. They were very lucky.

No aches and pains today whoop whoop but again, I am not overdooing it.  We have hospital appointment again, then its into town to take a few things back before coming home to cook sheperds pie.  This evening I will be in the craft room from 7pm so if you fancy a cuppa, a natter and a browse, please do pop in.

We were at the hospital yesterday and didnt get home until after 6.30pm. Christiana was shattered but the doctor she saw was the best yet.

Right, I had best get a wiggle on, thanks for having a read and hope you have a great day.  Tracey x

Wednesday

Wonderful Wet Wednesday

Still raining, never mind as I am still wearing sandals and short sleeved cardigans.

The plants are doing amazingly well and we have a watering system all set up and in place.  Just looking for someone to take care of 3 orchids which need watering once a week. If you can help, please let me know.

There is one space available on the new Pen Club

Please do get in touch if you would like more information as this is hoping to start very soon. As well as the pens, and the in colour pens from last year and this year, you are getting 3 crafty classes too, on ways of using the pens.

A young chappie at work has recently had a new addition to his family and this is the card I made from us all.
I loved making this and have just been asked to make a few more which is wonderful.

No aches and pains today which is just great news as we have 2 appointments this afternoon, I am sure that the appointments will get less and less as time goes on but it is wearing me out.  I think I know every bump in the road too and from the hospital now.  But how lucky I feel that we have the NHS who are able to help us, it would be  a different story without them.

Must get a wiggle on, have a lovely day and, if you need anything crafty, I may be selling it on the dressers, pop over after 7pm for a gander and a cuppa.  Thanks for having a read Tracey x

Tuesday

Merry Monday 24 on a Tuesday

opps I did it again, Merry Monday on a Tuesday, never mind.  Got up to my second pain free day so I shall be making the most of it.

The weekend came and went so quickly and really packed so much into it.  Yesterday passed with a blur and today I think will be the same.  After the hospital appointment today we are off to do a little birthday present shopping in Sainsburys.  The t-shirts there for little ones are smashing so we shall get a couple.

Here is a card that we received from Ruth at Christmas

Wonderful card Ruth and this has given me lots of ideas, thank you.

I still have quite a few SU orders here, ready to collect.  It seems that my email may not have been received by everyone over the weekend so I will send out a few messages later this evening.

We have all heard of house sitting and baby sitting but I am wondering if anyone would like to do a little orchid sitting for 20 days? Please get in touch if you could help me with this.

Off for my morning at work, wishing everyone a lovely day and I do hope you manage to stay dry.  Thanks for having a read Tracey x

Saturday

Salted Caramel

Goodness, we had quite a bit of rain yesterday and the weather man says we are having more today.  It is good for the garden and outdoor plants and ducks, I keep telling myself . We do love to listen to the rain and to watch it bounce off the ground though.  I was up at 4.30 today with cramps in my leg and toes.  I will certainly need a nap later. Fingers are a little achy but thats about all for this morning, lets hope that is all I have.

Yesterday at work, the young lady that I am training  to work in the afternoons to my mornings came in with a cake.  It was a salted caramel cake and to be honest, I have never tried anything salted caramel flavoured.  I know there are lots of things out there but it never appealed.  I had a little slice and well it was lovely, so much so that I asked for the receipe.  When I came home I thought I would treat the ladies of the Chrsitmas Card and Chatter Club

It was just as nice as the one I had in the morning.

Last night was a smashing night.  I managed to get lots of background bits done for my next batch of Christmas cards and the company was lovely too.

This is another Wedding card that I was commissioned to make.  I was asked to make a card with an aeroplane on it as the gentleman getting married is a pilot.  I loved making this one and I need to get a few more made as I have a lot more commissions.  Whilst the hands are behaving I shall do what I can.

Christiana's ear ache and painful throat have really returned.  I called the doc last night and they have asked for swabs on Monday so wont give her anything until the results come back, I do feel for her.

My stampin up order didnt go in last night, I totally forgot, sorry.  But that does mean that if you would like to add to the order, you can. YEAH.  Please get in touch with the items you would like me to order for you and if you need any help about what to order, please let me know and, I do have some cake left if you would like to pop over.

I hope to catch up with all the emails and blogs that I havent seen this week.  Apologies for the delay but I will catch up today.

Right then, I may as well do a few chores and the perhaps have an early start in the craft room, after a power shower of course (still loving my new bathroom).

Thanks for having a read and I hope you manage to stay dry.

Friday

Whoop Whoop it is Friday

Oh I do have that Friday feeling.....

Not sure about the weather today and to be honest, I dont really mind what it does.  I shall just be happy to spend the day getting sorted.  First it is a morning in the office followed by lunch with Christiana.  Hopefully we can get the weekly shop done and a few chores out of the way before its time to cook tea.

Tonight it is Christmas Card Club should you fancy joining us.

Do you have the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue?  If not and you would like a copy please let me know.  If you do have the catalogue and there are at least 10 things that you like, you might want to consider taking the very last place in the Stamperette Group that I run.  This is where 10 ladies commit to spending £15 each month for 10 months.  During this 10 months everyone gets to be a virtual hostess and gets at least £15 worth of goodies free.  On top of that, you get free catalogues and a free Stampin' Up! party if you want it.  Not very often you get something that doesnt cost anything.  If you would like a few more details please let me know so that we can arrange a get together where I can tell you more.

Here is a wonderful present that I received for my birthday.

it is so useful, thank you

Here is a card I made with a stack pack of papers.  I know that the papers are no longer in the catalogue but I wanted to share this with you.

I hope to make another one very similar with the new papers.

Right, a morning at the office before coming home to bake for tonights get together.  Have a great day and thanks for having a read.  Tracey x

Thursday

Magazine Make Cards

Another evening post but I am sure you dont mind.

Christiana and I  have had a lovely couple of days, we even made it out shopping.  We were supposed to go to the cinema but we got tired so went out for dinner instead, you cant beat quality time with the children.  And then today, Paul came home whoop whoop.

I have had the magazine since 2005 so was pleased to finally get time to make the little cards.  This has inspired me to make even more, so I shall, on Saturday.

Here are my magazine makes from last Monday, Here they are all together
And in a little bit more detail

It is Christmas Card and Chatter Club tomorrow so if you fancy an evening of crafting please, do come and join us.  You just bring along your bits to make whatever Christmassy item it is from 6ish until about 10ish.  It would be lovely to see you and the evening costs just £1 for the tea and biscuit tin.

Off to get showered (yes again) and get pjs on.  Thanks for visiting and hope you have a great night.

Tuesday

Merry Monday 23 on Tuesday

Good afternoon.  I ran out of time yesterday to do a Merry Monday so we are having a Merry Monday on a Tuesday for a change.  I expect I could put Merry Monday on the top and not too many people would mind.

After getting up at 5.30 yesterday, having another wonderful shower and getting everything ready for Christianas morning, I went to work.  I left at 12 and picked her up for the hospital.  We returned after 2.30 where she had lunch and I got changed and watered some plants.  We at at 5pm and at 6pm it was the first Magazine Make Monday where I managed to 3 small cards.  There were 4 of us and it was a lovely evening.  There will be another one in July if you fancy joining in the fun.  So at 10pm last night I watered the rest of the plants and went to bed....phew, no wonder I am shattered.

Today has been more or less the same except it was hospital for me.  Oh I have a right mixture of tablets to take but I shall have to wait till Paul comes home as I am told they have side effects and Christiana needs help...

Here is a stunning Christmas card that Sue C made for us

Thank you Sue, its lovely and I may be very inspired to make something similar at Xmas for my girls.

This friday is the Christmas Card and Chatter Club, if you fancy coming along please, do let me know.

Thanks for having a read and I wish you a wonderful evening x

Sunday

Sunny Sunday, again

Good morning and its going to be quite hot again today. I hope to nip out to watch the Ramathon as the participants will be running across the top of our road and it is something I have never done before.

Up at the crack of dawn today sorting out orders and doing a bit more in the craft room, as you do.  It was very warm and quiet first thing but it is certainly noisier now, can't believe people are mowing their lawn before 9am on a Sunday.

Christiana is feeling a lot better with her ears but she has this awful cough now.....if it isnt one thing it is another.

Home day today as I have the bedrooms to clean through, as you do.  A lovely Sunday lunch and some time in the greenhouse is called for I think before I get my outfits ready for work, oh yes, I have to have 5 outfits all lines up and ready to wear so that I don't have to think about it when I wake up in a morning.

Here is another wedding card that I have made, this time for Christiana to take home with her.  She has a few weddings coming up so I thought I would help out.
All Stampin' Up! products, unfortunately the blue is Bashful Blue which has retired and so has the large stamp.  I believe it is called French Flair and its a wonderful stamp, to be used for all occasions.

I have a link to the new Stampin' Up! catalogue on the right hand side of my blog.  If you would like to order anything from this please, do get in touch so that I can get you your goodies.  I shall be placing an order this evening, around 6pm.

Best go and get the veg peeled.  Thanks for having a read and I hope you have a wonderful day.

Saturday

Oh Happy Day

Good morning Saturday.  I was up at 5.30am due to excitement of getting craft room cleaned so by 6am I was in there, making a start.  As the weather is going to be in the 20's today (sorry Jackie), I thought I would have an early start and hopefully I can get to sit in the sunshine this afternoon.

Well the bathroom has been more or less finished.  I love it

However, I will not recommend the people that installed it to anyone and, when chappie comes back next week, I shall be telling him....

My tree on the front has really come to life in a week

We have gone from this

to this

I am so lucky to have this in the garden and the tree is lucky to be here because when we moved in, we thought it was dead and we nearly cut it down, phew.

Stampin' Up! has some wonderful things in the new catalogue and here is one of the cards I have been commissioned to make using Stampin' Up! products

I love the white on white and the card is a lot better in real life.

Just to remind you that there is still one place on the Stamperettes group and one place on the Pen Club.  If you fancy a cuppa and a chat about these please get in touch so that we can arrange to meet up.

What are you doing Monday night?  The new Magazine Make Monday is going to start.  I have a lot of magazines that I want to keep as there is something in them that I want to make but, as usual, I dont have time so now I have made the time.  I shall be in the craft room making items from magazines that could be up to 12 years old oops.  If you have a magazine and bits that you would like to make, why not join me from 6ish until 10ish on Monday night.  There are places for around 10 of us and so far there are 4 so you will be most welcome.  Lots of crafty chatter, cakes and laughter are guaranteed.

I shall be placing a Stampin' Up! order tomorrow evening.  If there is anything that you want please do let me know.  If you havent got a catalogue yet, I do have a couple for sale and I am happy to post them out if you cant nip over to collect.

Off to finish the craft room before starting on the cleaning of my new bathroom.  Thanks for having a read and I hope you have a wonderful Saturday.

Wednesday

Happy New Catalogue

Good morning and what a soggy one it is.  I am not at work today so I am going to try and catch up on a few bits and pieces as well as finish off a few wedding cards

Thankfully yesterday we got into the doctors with Christiana, again.  More antibiotics, a different painkiller, shower gel that is medicated as well as a special shampoo.  Plasters for her ulcers and cream to collect tomorrow, phew.  We then went out to the lodge for tea, a bit of fresh air and a walk does everyone the world of good.

This has now been claimed.  It was Pam who lives just around the corner from me who came along with 3 friends on the day.  One very happy lady.

The Quiz and a prize of a free craft class will be announced tomorow as one or two ladies have asked for a little extra time, they keep getting distracted by all the new items in the catalogue.

So today is the day that you can order from the brand new Stampin' Up! Catalogue.  If you haven't actually got one yet let me know and I will arrange for you to have your very own copy to hold, look through and dream over, I am convinced it is the best one yet.  Every year I say that and this year is better than ever before.

Join the pen club

There is just one space remaining for the Pen Club.  For £20 a month, for 6 months you get 38 SU Pens, 5 2015- 2017 In Colour Pens, 2016 - 2018 In Colour Pens, the carry case, 3 classes using your pens, £15 hostess benefits once during the 6 months and any publications from June - December.  As there is only one place, this will have to be on a first come first served basis.

If you have ever considered joining Stampin' Up! now could be just the perfect time with the launch of the new Annual Catalogue.  As well as getting £130 of SU products that you choose, you get a whole pack of office supplies and now, you get an additional 2 stamp sets.

Please do get in touch if you would like to find out a little more about joining.

For the month of June, if you hold a party (or a virtual party, I dont mind) and get sales of £250 or more you will get an additional £25 in hostess benefits

Yet another great offer from Stampin' Up! and again, if you would like to have a chat about any of the Stampin' Up! products or offers, please get in touch as I would be really happy to help

If you dont already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and wish to order some Stampin' Up! products, I would be honored to be your demonstrator and get you the crafting items you want need.  All my contact details are on the right hand side of my blog.

I was going to share the bathroom pictures with you but I will save that for tomorrow as there is just so much to take in with the new Stampin' Up! bits.  Have a great day x
