Wednesday

Happy Birthday Hollie

Good morning, everywhere is all frosty and white outside, looks lovely.

Yesterday hubby took us to the cinema to see Fantastic Beasts and where to find them. Oh WOW it was amazing. We saw it in 3 D which made it even more special.  Loved it, when is the next one out.

Today is our youngest grand daughters birthday, she is 10.

I do hope she likes her card and pressies.

The twins arrive today so it is going to be a busy day.  I am also expecting an order from SU, which is super duper quick.  I guess I will be getting some help with making some thank you cards opps.

Fingers are not the best today so wishing you a wonderful day and hope you stay warm x

Tuesday

Brrrrr

Good morning, a cold one but a good one.  It was -2 degrees when I got up and everywhere outside was lovely and crisp.  Chrisitiana is not enjoying this weather as it means it is too cold for her to go out brrrrr.

It was my neices son's birthday yesterday and here is a card that I made and sent over to Cyprus.  I cant believe that he is 4 years old already, time certainly does fly.

A couple of good bits of news.....Katerina has passed the bar exams in Cyprus, whoop whoop.  So now we shall see where life will take her.  Sophia has got herself a job as a social worker which is what she has studied for.  It is a 9 month contract, 7 months paid for by an EU scheme and 2 months paid for by the local council.  Normally, after the placement finishes, most people are offered a permanent role so again whoop whoop.  Both girls are currently in the UK and will be with us tomorrow.  A busy couple of weeks ahead, how wonderful.

Tomorrow is the last chance to get one of these bargains

I went for more blood tests yesterday.  I have to wait until all signs of infection are gone before re commencing with the methotrexate.  Fingers crossed that we can do something soon as it is becoming a bit of a struggle to use my hands again....opps.

Well I had best get a wriggle on as a few bits and pieces to do..... Thanks for having a read and wishing you a wonderful day.  Tracey x

Sunday

Night of Navy

Good afternoon, brr it is a chilly one out there.  Sunday lunch is cooking, the washing has all been done and the chores are finished for the day.  Fingers crossed after lunch I can get into the craft room for a while, a few projects to finish.

Here are another couple of cards we did on 'pen club' night.

It is an Art Impression stamp, one I have had for a very long time.  Teamed it up with Night of Navy pen, ribbon and card.  A lot of glitter on the star but not showing up too much.

Tomorrow is the last chance to grab yourself a bargain from SU.  If you would like to order anything, please do it through my online shop or, if you let me know what you want before 8pm this evening, I will order it for you.

Off to help Santa.....thanks for having a read and have a lovely afternoon.

Friday

The end of the week

Good morning, Winter really has arrived brrrr.  I do like Winter, coming into a warm house, having tea and toast, getting a thick jumper on and just snuggling on the sofa......

Stampin' Up! are in the middle of a wonderful Sale.  Please click HERE and HERE for some smashing offers and, if you would like to order them through me, just let me know what you would like by Monday morning.  I shall be placing my last order for the month.

I managed to get out for some fresh air earlier in the week and boy, I did need it.  At the same time Chrisitana found herself a pair of lovely boots so we purchased them.  Got home and went to show Paul the boots, they had put shoes in the box instead grrrr so we had to go back to the shop again to sort it out, which we did the following day

This week we have spent another day at the hospital *waving to Liz* who I saw there.  It may be an idea for us ladies to start meeting at the hospital for a coffee, we all seem to spend a fair bit of time there these days *giggles*.

I have had lots of lovely visitors too, thank you so much for the flowers.  My house looks and smells like a florist, it is beautiful.  It is so nice to know that I have such wonderful friends......

Today I hope to catch up on messages, emails as well as lots of other bits and pieces.  I just get so tired so that I am struggling to keep on top of everything but does it really matter?  I guess not.  If I dont finish things today, there is always tomorrow......

We all met for the pen club last night.  This is where 6 ladies purchase ALL THE STAMPIN' UP! PENS over a 6 month period.  It costs £20 a month, as well as the pens you get the carry case box, all the catalogues and you are hostess for one month.  On top of that, there are 3 classes showing different ways of using the pens.  It has been really good and here are what we made last night.

I shall be starting another Pen Club in February so, if this is something you are interest in please, do let me know, the spaces fill up really quickly.

I am sending out emails / messages about the Christmas Fuddle today.  This will take place on Friday 16th December from 6pm ish onwards.  If you fancy coming along please do let me know as soon as you can.

Thanks for having a read and I hope you have a wonderful day x

Monday

Wet and Soggy Monday

Good morning and another start to another week, lets hope that this week isnt as full of mishaps as last week was, fingers crossed.  The weather is really wet and windy out there so I will put on my raincoat.  Nothing stopping me from a breath of fresh air this morning - polly positive.

I hope to go out of the house this morning for a couple of hours and then it will be the rest of the day and evening in the craft room.  Christiana and I really must get the Christmas cards put into some kind of order. It is a nice and relaxing thing to do so I believe it will do me some good.

Here is a wonderful card I recently received.

In a world of text messages, emails and face book messages, it really is lovely to get a snail mail card.  I sent some cards out a couple of weeks ago, just to say hello and I shall be sending a few more out this week.

The stampin Up Sale has begun whoop whoop.  If you havent ordered on line before, it really is very easy, once you have set up an account.  If you put me down as your demonstrator, I shall send you a little something in the post once your order has been received.  The hostess code is

JAHHDUBV

There is a space for you to add this before you actually submit your order but, if you do need a hand please, do get in touch with me as I shall be really happy to help you.

Thanks for having a read and wishing you a lovely day, despite the weather x

Sunday

Pretty Packaging from Telford

Good morning and what awful weather.  We were hoping to go and feed the ducks today but it is so wet and windy in Derby, yikes.

On Tuesday I woke up with the taste of salt in my mouth, this continued to Thursday and on Friday, it was cinnemon.  My tongue is swollen, lips dry and lips are split in both corners.  So it is E45 on the corners of my mouth, gel on the lips in the hopes that it will relieve so of the discomfort.  Today I woke up and all I can taste is ginger.  How odd all this is but it seems that 1 in a million people who take the tablets I am taking get problems with all the little tastebuds on their tongue.  Trust me to be that one *giggles*  I am only these for 28 days so I will put up with it.

Still lots more to share with you.

Right, off to potter and prepare a Sunday lunch, with lots of help.  Thanks for having a read and, if you fancy some card making tomorrow, Christiana and I will be in the craft room all do, pop over for a cuppa and a catch up.

DONT FORGET if you would like anything from the Stampin' Up! Sales tomorrow, please let me know later today......lots of bargains

Saturday

Quick Update

Good evening.  I went away last Friday for a weekend of crafting at Sir Stampalot, took ill on Saturday morning and ended up spending 5 days in hospital.  It doesnt sound so bad when you say it quickly.  Hopefully I am on the road to recovery now.  We really are very lucky to have the NHS, well, that is my opinion.

On the Rhumertoid Arthiritis front, not on any medication but the dizzy spells have stopped (ssshhh).  Obviously I cant do anything about restarting the methotrexate until all my blood results come back as normal but, I will be giving them a call on Monday to let them know how I am.

No crafting done but I can show you these that I made last Friday night, it seems such a long time ago.

Stampin' Up! are having a sale which starts with a flash sale on Monday.

This is then followed by a week long sale, ending with another flash sale on Friday.

To see a full list, click HERE  I believe that I may start to order from tomorrow at 11.00am.  If you would like me to try and order any of these items, please let me know sometime tomorrow and I shall see what I can do.  No promises.

I still have a sale table out until Wednesday of this week so, if you fancy a gander, just get in touch and come and grab yourself a bargain or two.

More updates tomorrow, when I am not so tired.  Thank you so much for having a read and I hope to catch up with everyone in the next few days.  Have a wonderful Saturday evening x

woof woof Friday

Good morning, cant believe that the temperature is warming up today, that is good.  It will please Christiana a lot more and there are plans to go out to a park over the weekend for a wander around.

Another lovely swap I received at Telford last weekend, oh yes, I have lots

It is some smashing punch art using the fox builder punch and the owl builder punch, isnt it wonderful?  This was made by Lesley Condron.  I hope to be sharing all these makes, in the flesh, with anyone that comes to visit.  Very inspirational.

Fancy a day of crafting?  Christiana and I are going to be spending the day, in the craft room on Wednesday from 10ish until 4ish.  It would be great if you could join us, with your own crafting projects, to start or finish or, just for a natter.  If you need to know where I am in Derby, please get in touch and I will send you the venue details.

Still lots of goodies for sale if you fancy popping in for a cuppa next week, it will be lovely to see you.

Thanks for having a read and wishing you a really nice Friday.

Thursday

Thursdays bits and pieces

Good morning, the second time for me.  We should have been up and about early this morning but I got up early, went for a lie down and nodded off time way after 10am, oops.  Never mind, I obviously needed the sleep.

Thank you so much to all the lovely ladies that nipped in yesterday to collect orders, have a browse through the sale table and those that came to say hello.  Lovely to see you.  If you are reading this and fancy popping in this evening after 6pm, you are most welcome.  You had best eat first though as Paul is cooking fajitas and the house will smell lovely and spicy. If you cant make it today, dont worry, the Sale table will be out all week next week too.

Here is a card I made recently and I am hoping that the postman has already delivered it.
And another one of the makes I was fortunate enough to swap with last weekend.

This was made by Joanna, thank you so much.

I think that all the plans may have gone out of the window for today, never mind.  Thanks for having a read and have a lovely day x

Tuesday

Tuesdays Twitter

Good morning and boy, it is cold today.  -1 at 6am and still -1 brrrr. I have told Christiana to stay in bed.

Here is a lovely little card that I made over the weekend using some new bits and pieces that are going to be available in the new year and just look at those papers.

This has Love written in every language.  Usually Greek isnt included but this time it is.  It is a wonderful valentine or anniversay Red.

The craft room overhaul is coming on well and if you fancy a rummage through all the items that I have for sale, please do let me know so that you can arrange to pop in and have a cuppa and catch up at the same time.

The SU orders have arrived with the exception of the stitched dies.  These are due any day now.

I have more glue too if you need to stock up.

One of the things I love about Stampin' Up! is the promise they give.  I had a friend who purchased the gingerbread collection and the punch locking system kept coming apart. 3 weeks after the original order was delivered,  I rang them up and explained the situation and less than a week later, we have a new one delivered.  It really is good service.

The next Stampin' Up! get together is going to be next year in Amsterdam, in April.  Fancy coming along?  Something for you to think about.

Right then, off to sort out some more crafting goodies that need to find new homes. Have a great day and look forward to seeing you soon.

Monday

Positive Monday

Good morning, I think it is safe to say that Summer really has finished for this year.  Never mind, lots of frosty days to look forward to. Maybe I can get to practice with my camera and capture some nice images.

I was very brave on Friday and caught a train to Telford for the Stampin' Up! Event.  I really wasnt well enough to drive so the train suited me great. I visited Christiana in hospital at lunch and then went off. An uneventful trip but boy, I really have lost my confidence being on my own! I went to the dinner that SU held and had a wonderful time.

Saturday was just as brilliant, lots of freebies and inspiration. I came away feeling really positive and energised and cant wait to share everything with every one I know, plus the friends I havent met yet.

Here is one of the swaps I received from Telford

This was made by a lady called Kim Price, isnt it a great idea.

And of course the new SU bag for this year, as if I dont have enough of them, never mind.

HANDMADE Crafty Space is have a major overhaul *giggles*.  It will be out of action for a few days but so much stuff is being sold.  I have moved all the selling items into the conservatory until next monday so if you want a bargain, please do call in.  Give me a ring first though, just to be sure I am home.

The orders have arrived whoop whoop and I will be sorting them out this evening.

Health wise, I am not the best unfortunately.  I am still getting the dizzy spells even though I am off the methotrexate.  So it is blood pressure monitoring for one week and then go back to the doctor.  The aches and pains of RA are returning too which means that I am up at silly o clock, fingers are starting to hurt and tasks are starting to get difficult but, I am still smiling and I will get it all sorted.

On a positive note, we have the fuddle on 16th December.  Put the dates in your diaries, let me know if you plan on coming along and dont forget the secret Santa. If you can lend a hand on the Wednesday or Thursday preparing the room, please get in touch as this will be really appreciated.   I will also have a page on my blog and on facebook so you can all see who is coming along and what food will be put on the table, a bit more organised this year. Lots to look forward to before Santa arrives.

Thursday

Tag tastic

Good morning.  3 degrees outside (when will I see you again, okay, maybe not).

I am currently sat here trying to print out lists of what I have used for some swap tags I have made.  I am off to Telford tomorrow which I hope will be a lovely time with some like minded crafters.  I shall stay overnight and on Saturday I shall spend the day with Stampin, Up!  I think I will come back feeling so rested and relaxed and full of everything SU.  So look out, I may be knocking on your door to get you to sign up.  Stampin' Up! is still as strong as ever and with the new Spring/Summer catalogue soon due as well as the Sale a Bration, all I can think of is craft party after crafty party, whoop whoop.

Here are said tags

I have made around 80 of them over the last month or so with a lot of help from friends and family, thank you.  I cant wait to share what I swop them for.

I am still off ALL medication and I am still getting the dizzy spells but soldiering on, as you do. Hopefully the train journey tomorrow will be uneventful.

Right, I had best get a move on as I know a certain young lady is waiting for me.  Apologies for not getting to answer all texts and emails, I hope to catch up tomorrow. x

Wednesday

Midweek Musing

1.2 degrees outside, I cant believe how cold it is brrr.  I shall be wrapping up when I go out again today.

I am pleased to say that, at the moment, health wise, I am feeling okay.  I am so frightened that my RA symptoms will all come back all of a sudden but so far, so good.  The dizziness hasnt gone though.  It just comes and goes in waves so I have to give this another week and then return to the doctor if it hasnt gone to start investigations.

On a brighter note, I did manage just one hour in the craft room yesterday, in two stages.....

Our fairy garden has had a storm of acer leaves all over it.   The acer has done really well again this year and the colours of the leaves have changed all year.  Sadly they will all go now, ready for winter.

Mind you, these flowers are still looking good despite the cold weather.

Here is another sample of what you can do with the new dies from Stampin' Up!

Thanks for having a read today.  I do hope you manage to stay warm and, if you do want anything ordering from Stampin' Up!, please get in touch before this evening.

Dont forget to check out the stamps for sale, a few more have been added x

Tuesday

Happy 1st November

Good morning its a bit chilly out there brrr.  Happy 1st November.

I have the slow cooker out today.  I shall gently fry the meat and onions and pop it all in so that I dont have to worry about food this evening, it will make a nice change.

Stampin' Up! have some wonderful new products out today

And below are details of the special offers on some stamp sets.

If you would like to place an order, please do let me know before tomorrow evening as I shall be submitting one around 8pm.  Here is just one sample
I did manage to have another play yesterday with the Jar stamps and this is what I made.

I added a bow with the stamps and die cut across the top of the jar.  Fingers crossed that I get another hour in the craft room later to make another one or two....they are very addictive.
Thanks for having a read and wishing you a lovely Tuesday
