Sweet Strawberry

Good afternoon, a lovely day outside today, the sun is out, the sky is blue and we have already started planting the seeds in the greenhouse.  I was hoping to get more done in the garden that I did over the weekend but the weather was very windy yesterday so I was in the craft room instead.

A few of us got together and we had a zoom card making session using the Sweet Strawberry stamp set and punch along with the Berry Blessings stamp set from the last Sale a Bration.

These were made by stamping the largest stamp directly on to the card and then using dimensionals, adding the other elements at different levels.

If you would like to purchase the Stamp set and punch as a bundle with a discount or just one of them, you can find them in the shop (click on the 'shop here' icon or the picture of the stamp set above).

Thank you for having a read today and I hope you have a great Sunday x

Spring Forward with Fancy Phrases

Good morning.  Slightly overcast in Derby at the moment and a chance of rain at 11am says mr. weatherman.  It wont deter me from getting in the greenhouse and giving it a sort out.  I have been gathering seeds and today is the day that I would like to start planting them up.

We had a lovely Zoom get together on Friday evening.  We made three cards and focused on a Stamp set called Fancy Phrases.

Do you have this set?  At the moment it is discounted and it will be unavailable to purchase as from the beginning of May (it will also become unavailable if the stock runs out).  If you click on the photo you can see that the blue card with a Basic White panel has been stamped in the corners, a tone on tone card.  The area where the ribbon is has been stuck down and we have created a background with the smaller of the stamps in the set.

The Rich Razzelberry and Basic White card again was stamped in the corners with Momento ink but this time, the flowers were coloured in using blend pens.  We left the leaves without colour and added some coloured in basic rhinestone gems.

The Balmy Blue and Melon Mambo card had the image stamped on Shimmery White or Watercolour card using Stazon ink.  Once we coloured it in (using the ink from the ink pad lids and water with a paint brush/water painter) we trimmed down the edges with the SU trimmer and just snipped away at the outer leaves.  Again, some coloured rhinestones were added.  If you would like a little more information or if you would like to have a go at making something like this, I will be very happy to help.

You can purchase the stamp set by clicking on the link for my shop

Snail Mail Center Easel Card

The plan today was to do some gardening.  Well we have rain and some hail so there wont be any gardening for a while.  I guess I shall have to go into the craft room instead.  Not such a bad thing as you cant see my craft table at all.....it is covered.

Stampin' Up! are having a new catalogue at the beginning of May.  So to make room for all their new products, a lot of them will be discontinued.  If you click on the goodbye image below, it will take you to see the 'Last Chance Product Sale'

If there is anything that you would like, I would grab it before it is gone....for good.  I am always happy to help with your orders if you are not able to do this.  I place an order each week and you are welcome to collect from me, in Alvaston. Please let me know if you would like me to order anything for you, my next order will go in over the weekend.

I have been playing with Sybil.  She is such a sweetie and can be found in the Snail Mail stamp set from Stampin' Up!

We made this type of card a couple of years ago in a class.  Oh how I miss our classes.   You can still get your hands on Sybil and her friends and all the product details are below.  Just click on one of the images and it will take you straight into the Stampin' Up! store.  If you need any help with this please, do get in touch.

I just had to share this photo with you as I thought it was so cute.  Sophia, my daughter,  on her way for a coffee on a rare day off yesterday.

Thank you for having a read today and I hope you have a fantastic Friday, despite the weather.
