Another Isopropyl card

Good morning, a lovely start to the day, waking up to sunshine.  It will be here all day so making the most of the peace and quiet, apart from all the gun shots outside.  Hunting season but it is awfully close to the house.

We had to return to IKEA earlier in the week and Paul treated me to lunch, again.  I didn’t mind as this is the view from the restaurant.

It was an extremely, windy day but the sky really was that lovely blue.    Here is the last of the Isopropyl cards that I made.  We shall be having a get together in  Tuesday 19th October at 10am if you would like to join us.

For the inside, I had quite a large piece of the vellum left over so I just cut out one of the flowers.

One Sheet Wonder Birthday Card

Good morning, where did the weekend go?  We spent lots of time with the girls and had a wonderful weekend.  Today we are off to IKEA this morning with Sophia.  It will be a chill and relaxing time at the beach this afternoon followed by dinner with the family.  You can’t ask for a better start to the week.

Here is a card that went out in the post recently, made from a ‘one sheet wonder’.  You stamp all over a sheet of A4 or 12x12 and then create cards with what you have created.  It is a wonderful way to create a set of cards.

Fancy a get together next month to make up the Christmas kit together?

Please do get in touch  (contact details below) to order your kit or to book your place in The Craft Room, Derby.

Wednesday

Beauty of Friendship different type of card

Good morning, an early start again today.I thought I heard wind chimes, lots of them.  A bit strange as it was only just sunrise and it wasn’t forecast to be windy.  So I got up and came to have a look. Imagine my surprise when I saw these sheep and a shepherd who actually posed for me.  A great way to start the day.

Here is a card that was made during one of the days that we had a crafting session in The Craft Room, Derby.  Everyone came armed with their own supplies and we sat and made cards for a couple of hours, to see how we felt about crafting together.  I am really pleased to say, it worked out a treat.

I took a sheet of Soft Succulent card and created a Base Card with it (C6 / A6).  I added a piece of the 6x6 2021-2023 In Colour Designer Speciality Paper to the front of the card and then ran this through the die cutting machine, cutting out a large circle.

I got an A4 sheet of Basic White card and created another card base that fit inside the Soft Succulent card, leaving a small border all the way around.  I made sure that the Basic White card had the crease towards the outside and using a pencil, I gently marked out the circle.  I then stamped the tree branches, once, and it created the wonderful image, from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set.  I rubbed out the pencil marks and stamped the tree trunk.

I then opened up the Basic White insert and stamped one of the other trees from the stamp set using the same colours, this is where I shall write my greeting.  Using Evening Evergreen card and 2 circle dies, I cut out a frame to go around the circle on the front of the card.  If you would like more information on how to do this, please do get in touch, all my details are below.  I have also added a list of all the products I used to make this card at the end of this post. Should you wish to purchase the bundle, stamps and dies, I will get this delivered to you, FREE of charge and, you can add a Sale a Bration item to the order at no extra cost.  The same applies should you wish to purchase the suite (stamps, dies, embossing folder and 12x12 paper).  Please get in touch to find out more.

Monday

Beauty of the Earth cards, special offers and more.

Good morning, overslept today, if you can call a late start to Monday when you are on holiday overslept.  No plans again today but a little more time at the beach and in the sea will be a must for late afternoon. All the children return to school today so yesterday we more or less had the place to ourselves.

It really does make a difference to our day having time sat on the beach, doing the crossword and having a read together.

Some time ago, to get all of us that visit The Craft Room back into crafting after the lockdown, I invited everyone to a couple of hours crafting, bringing your own supplies, in small groups.  This was to see how we felt being together, chatting away and to be sure we were all okay in each other’s company.  The theme I had for myself, for these get togethers was trees and this is one of the card styles I did using the Beauty of the Earth Suite from Stampin’ Up!

The suite has the stamps, the dies, embossing folder and the stunning papers for £67.50.  If you purchased this before the end of September you also get to choose a FREE sale a Bration item.  On top of that I am offering FREE shipping to your address too (this is an offer from myself and not Stampin’ Up!).  My details are below, please get in touch so that I can order this for you.  The same offer of a FREE Sale a Bration item and FREE delivery if you would like the stamps and the die bundle which is £47.50

The card is cased from Pinterest and is a slimline one.  To be honest, I had half a dozen envelopes and made the cards to fit them.

The little birds come in the die set, they can be used for so many occasions. There is one card that I made where I stamped the sentiment directly onto the card but it doesn’t show up too well,  that was the first one I did.  The rest of the sentiments were stamped onto Basic White card and cut out using Stitched Rectangle Dies.

Fancy joining the In Color Club?  Details are below. Only 2 spaces available.
