Stamperettes

Stampin' Up! Stamperettes is a group of 10 crafters who agree to purchase at least £15 in Stampin Up! goods each month for a period of 10 months. Each month this will create an order of £l50 so each person in the Stamperettes, in turn will be a hostess for the month.

The Hostess of the Month will get a minimum of £l5 to spend on Hostess Benefits and/ or any items that are currently available.
Should the Hostess wish to hold an exclusive Make & Take session in the craft room during their hostess month, with family and or friends, a date can be booked in advance.
Each Stamperette will get the latest copy of the annual catalogue and all other catalogues that are published over the 10 months free of charge along with product tasters, samples and other crafty items throughout the 10 months. If you would like to particpiate or find out more, please let me know. Only 2 places left.

In Color Club

With the new catalogue comes the five new 'In Colors" which are below. This means that the In Color Club is back. Here are the new In Colors

Everyone in the In Color Club will purchase a monthly colour for 5 months. Each month you get 4 sheet of A4 card, an ink pad, a Stampin' Write marker, Designer Series paper and embellishments all in one colour for the price of £19.

Core Color Share

With a brand new Stampin' Up! catalogue for the next year comes new shares. As there has been a colour refresh with the addition of 11 core colours, I shall have a monthly share.

You can pick one new ink pad, two, three or as many as you wish for the price of £7.66 each and once all 11 colours have been picked by everyone, I shall place the order for a bundle of them, getting them at a bundle/discounted price. For 94p you can get 2 sheets of each colour of A4 card, £3.46 for a co-ordinating Stampin' Write marker as well as opting for blend pens, ink refills etc.

If this is something you may be interested in please do get in touch. I shall continuing having this share each month until everyone has all the colours they want. There will even be a exclusive Face Book Group for all participants to share there makes.

Tuesday

One Sheet Wonder card and a quick update

Good evening. A sunny and warm day was forecast for Derby today and it turned out just as was forecast. It was perfect for a busy day in and out of the house and visiting friends and family. There was no time for crafting but I will make up for it I am sure. My 'to do' list was quite a long one this morning but by making an early start on it I was able to get everything done.

Everything is all ready and sorted as I go on another adventure tomorrow. I am so excited by the upcoming wedding of Katerina and the house move for Sophia (hopefully). The invites have been given out, the RSVPs are coming in, the cake is ordered, the dress is ready, the bridesmaid dresses are sorted and the mother of the bride has her frock (s) all sorted. I am having one made but with misunderstanding about dates, I didnt get to try it on so I will be having a final fit on Thursday. Not having tried it on, I dont know if I like it so, I went on the hunt and purchased another one....an alternative.

Shoes and hangbag are ready and the wedding cards have been made, (I had to make one for Sophia to give to her sister).

This is the church where it will all happen. More news on that another day.

Here is a card that I recently sent out to celebrate a birthday. It was created on a one sheet wonder. If you havent made one of these cards before keep your eyes peeled as we shall have a chilled hour of making a one sheet wonder in July over the internet. Something else for me to look forward to.

Another daisy card and the twig that turned into a stunner

Good morning. An early start for me today (as usual) as I have quite a few cards that I would like to prepare to get ready for posting. You cant beat a day in the craft room.

I thought I would share a photo of our laburnum tree in full bloom.

When we moved into our house we had a large twig in the garden and we had no idea what it was. Someone told us dont do anything with your garden for 1 year so that you can see what you have and that is exactly what we did. We watered this twig, fed it and put a stake next to it to help support it. Oh I am so pleased we didnt pull it out.

The creative crew had a bit of a play with a stamp set called Sending Smiles a few weeks ago and here is one of the cards that was created.

I used one of the embossing folders in the Online Exclusive Sets 'Basic 3D Embossing Folders'. You get 3 of them in a pack and at £28 for all three, this flower one, hobnail glass dots and a cross hatch design.

The card base is Thick Basic White card, cut in half and then scored in half.

I took a quater of a piece of Basic White card (normal, not thick) and using one of the spritzers with water, I sprayed this piece of card until it was damp. I popped it into the embossing folder and put it through the die cutting machine. I have found that with the card being damp, you get such a better impression. I then adhered this to the basic card base.

The flowered image was stamped out onto Basic White card and then put through the die cutting machine to cut it out with the co-ordinating dies.

A double bow was made with some Linen Thread (you cant beat this) and adhered to the card with one of the small glue dots. I havent added a sentiment yet as I thought I would wait until I needed a certain card and this is all ready to go.
