Good morning, up since 3am.  Most definately a nanny nap or two for me today.

Off to see mum first thing, she was out and about yesterday so I didnt get to see her.  Lovely to hear that she is out and about though as she hasnt been too well the last couple of weeks.  We think she picked up a tummy bug.

So we got home safe and sound and, as usual, my body clock is out of sync.  I am sure it will all get back to normal soon though.

Here are a couple of photos I managed to get whilst on our way home.  

 

What an amazing trip we had, the lead up to the wedding, the wedding, the time at the resort and then the city break, a bit nomadic but wonderful.  Now I need a few days to catch my breath. 

I have started a Stampin' Up! training programme, or did I already tell you that?  Lots of help on streamlining,  ideas on how to improve and things to get my mind working again. I am finding it all rather exciting. Anyway,  I am nowin the process of  getting up to speed on detailed tutorials and loving it.  I plan on making a video over the weekend of a card we made recently and the tutorial will go along with this.  Watch this space for more news.

Speaking of cards we made recently, how about these? Inspired by Donna Coffman and Mitosu Crafts using the Cheerful Daisies bundle - stamp and dies.

It is not a style of card that I normally make but wow, I had a great time with these and didnt really get too messy.  Lots of stamping, lots of inking and a little die cutting.  I do hope you like them.  I am certainly planning on creating more of my own backgrounds in the future.

With a brand new Stampin' Up! catalogue for the next year comes new shares.  As there has been a colour refresh with the addition of 11 core colours, I shall have a monthly share.

You can pick one new ink pad, two, three or as many as you wish for the price of £7.66 each and once all 11 colours have been picked by everyone, I shall place the order for a bundle of them, getting them at a bundle/discounted price.  For 94p you can get 2 sheets of each colour of A4 card, £3.46 for a co-ordinating Stampin' Write marker as well as opting for blend pens, ink refills etc.

Good morning, I was up extremely early but hope to have a nanny nap later.

I am taking part in a new training programme which is going very well, I have met lots of SU Demonstrators on line and am working my way through all the things that interest me.  It really is quite refreshing and exciting at the same time.  I am sure you will notice the small changes that I will make over the next few weeks.

I wanted to share this card with you that I made for a very special friend.  It is called an easel card and has lots of layers to it.  I shall be writing instructions on how this was created and will happily share those with you, once ready.  The stamp set is Blessings of home which has now retired but one I shall keep in my stash.

Stampin' Up! Stamperettes is a group of 10 crafters who agree to purchase at least £15 of Stampin Up! goods each month for a period of 10 months.  Each month this will create an order of £l50 so each person in the Stamperettes, in turn will be a hostess for the month.

Wedding cards and wedding reception

Good morning from a warm and sunny Cyprus.  We are on the move again today, leaving the holiday resort of Proteras to move back to a hotel in Larnaca.

Unfortunately my sis in law and bro in law leave the island today, where did that week go?  Time just has a way of flying by, when you are having fun and that is most certainly what we have had.

 I thought I would share the Wedding cards I made for Katerinas special day. Whilst the stamps I have had in my stash for a while, the car pd bases, colours, inks and watercolour pencils are by stampin’ Up!  I love the way we can mix and match our crafting goodies.

And here are the last of the photos of the third part of the wedding, the reception.  This was held in a working winery and the setting could not have been any better.

So that is all the excitement over, two years in the planning and it all went like clockwork.  Maria, the maid of honour (black swan) organised the hen party and everything else with precision.  So proud of her.
