Christmas Tags

Good morning from a very sunny Cyprus.  With temperatures at around 31 degrees, it’s a lovely start to the day.  I am hoping for a girlie day today with Sophia and Katerina but no matter what we plan to do, it never works out that way.

I am really pleased to say that the long awaited Purple Posy ink pad is now available to purchase either as part of the new In Colours or on its own.  If anyone would like to order this please get in touch as I shall be placing an order on Sunday/Monday, depending on internet connections.

I have been having fun making some Christmas tags.  For those that have read the blog in the past, you will know that it gets to just before Christmas eve and I have ran out.  Well no chance of this happening this year.  I was so inspired by the Christmas Tags shown on the front of the catalogue that I just had to have some of my own.

Thursday

Happy Birthday Ant

Good morning. It is hot and we haven’t been to the beach yet.....maybe tomorrow.

A happy birthday goes out to Ant today who is my nieces other half.
This is the card that was sent along with a couple of packs of cider.

Thanks for having a read today and I hope you have a lovely day.  Tracey x

Monday

Pretty pencil case

Good evening and here I am in a lovely warm Cyprus.  We arrived in the very early hours of Sunday morning and got to air bnb very tired.  The air bnb is very nice though and minutes into the city center.  We slept for a few hours and then had a very emotional time at the memorial. After a tiring day, a light meal at night and then it was sleep to start afresh today.

Woke up to the sunshine and spent most of the day with Sophia, just what the doctor ordered.  The girls are at a dance class at the minute and we are off to meet up with them for an hour.

I thought I would share this wonderful little box that I made at our recent team get together.  It uses the amazing Very Versailles stamp which really does look pretty in different colours.  I managed to get the instructions for making more of these so watch this space.

Thank you for having a read today

Friday

Christmas is coming

Good morning and its the weekend, well nearly.  Weather is lovely today and the forecast is for yet another sunny day.  I shall certainly be trying to sit out in the sun later today.

I treated myself to the advent calendar kit from Stampin' Up!  To be truthful, I treated Katerina as she is moving into her new apartment very soon and she wont have much for Christmas so this will be hers.  Of course I couldnt wait to have a play.

First of all I sanded down all the edges of the draw fronts from the kit which didnt take too long

I then went around the drawer fronts with crumb cake in and a dauber, just to give them a little edge.

This is the selection you get for drawer fronts, more than you need.
I then did a bit of stamping on the fronts

I added some pretty embellishments to them as well

And then of course, you get all the numbers but I added those last of all with a dimensional
The 25th had to be a bit special because that is a really special day.

And here is the result of all my mornings work, which was lovely, made even more special because I know it is for Katerina.

Would you like to come to a class to make this?  I shall be holding a second class on Sunday morning, 10th November from 10.30am.  It will take a couple of hours to make and we have the stamp set to play with too.  Do let me know if you would like to come along as I have to order the calendars, in advance.

Thank you for having a read and I hope you have a great weekend.  Tracey x

Good morning and its a sunny one today.  The forecast is for warmer days, always good.

Stampin' Up! have a bit of a clearance on at the moment, here is the link for you to nip to have a look.

https://www2.stampinup.com/ecweb/products/500100/clearance-rack

Dont forget to use the Hostess Code (which is below) and I will make sure you get a little something as a thank you.

Here is the card I made for a recent Ruby Wedding Anniversary.  I used a retired die along with Lovely Lipstick card and ink.  The Congratulations die is one that Sheila has lent me as I still can not believe that I dont have a die that says this.

I loved making the card and I making a promise that the box with all my dies in is coming out at least once a week.

Another offer also running with Stampin' Up! is the paper one.  You can purchase 3 packs and get a 4th one free.  I know lots of ladies at the moment would only like half a pack due to the amount we already have but its such a great offer not to miss.  If you would like half a pack of paper from the following list, you can get some free too.

Thanks for having a read and should you want anything from the clearance rack or any of the catalogues, do get in touch.  If you dont have a catalogue I am happy to get one to you as quick as I can.  Tracey x

Monday

Cards in a tin get together

Good morning and brrr its a bit cold today, or I am nesh (a person who feels the cold).  What a wonderful weekend we have had.  Paul has had to go into work today even though it is a Monday but that gives me chance to get the few chores done and catch up.

A couple of weeks ago the craft room tables had a bit of a shuffle and we had a lovely crafty get together.

Everyone that came along came armed with food and there was lots of food put out buffet style and a great afternoon was had by all.  We made this wonderful set of cards in a tin. The tin was decorated on the outside and the cards and envelopes inside the tin were decorated to match.

Of course we had to play crafty bingo as no get together would be quite right without it.  These are the bare tins and if you would like to purchase a few, please get in touch as they will be here in October.
The stamps used were Bird Ballard, Flower Shop and Gorgous Grunge.  We had Tranquil Tide and Blackberry Bliss colours which have now retired but if you wanted some of the 12 x 12 papers, I have lots.

The Christmas Catalogue is up and running and there are lots of wonderful goodies in there.  If you havent got a catalogue, let me know.  If you would like to place an order do get in touch so that we can sort this out or why not place an order on line to be delivered direct to your door.  If you need help with this I am always happy to lend a hand.

Thank you for having a read and I hope you have a great day.  Tracey x

Friday

Friday THE 13th with lots of Stampin' Up! papers

Good morning and it is Friday again, that came round rather quickly. It is also Friday 13th yikes.  Good news from the hospital earlier this week, my injections are working because the blood tests say so whoop whoop.  I will be on them for another 2 - 3 years and then hopefully I wont need to inject each week.  It will get less and less but for now I am just happy that they are starting to kick in and I dont suffer as much as I did.  I cant start running or climbing or doing anything drastic but I am certainly not in as much pain as I was, which is good news.

Some other good news is that my legs are not as swollen as they were.  I dont know if it is the latest course of antibitiotics, weight loss, tippy toe excercise, vibrating plate or a combination of everything that is helping but whilst it is working, I shall carry on the routine (not the antibiotics as they have finished).

Today it is Will our nephews birthday and this is the card that we sent to him.

I hope he likes it.

Would you like a share of some 6 x 6 papers from Stampin' Up! Neutrals Collection.

Each half a pack is £5.38 with FREE p+p.  If you would like some please get in touch and collection will be from Alvaston at the beginning of October.  There will be 20 sheets in the pack, 2 double sided papers of each of the 4 designs, in 10 colours.  Should you wish to pop into The Craft Room and have a look at them, you are most welcome to call in this morning.

Dont forget that for the next couple of weeks (until the end of September) you can get a share of 12 x 12 papers in the

If you would like a share in the special offer, please get in touch and I can tell you more.

Thank you for having a read today and I hope you have an amazing weekend.  See you on Monday, Tracey x
