Good morning, oh how I love Fridays. So today I have a busy day starting with a couple of hours in the Craft Room, which is always a great way to start the weekend. Lots of messages to reply to and then we are off to a Retirement Party late this afternoon. A friend of ours is having his party quite a while after he retired and I am so looking forward to seeing work friends of a few years ago. I loved working at Rolls Royce in the Sinfin office, amongst some of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. I was very lucky.
I was also lucky last weekend and I am pleased to say that we had a bit of a get together and managed to play with a Stampin' Up! stamp set called In The Moment (pictures of stamp set below). A few different cards were made and here is one that Ruth created.
The pretty papers are from the hostess set called Celebrate Everything. Did you know that when you are a hostess of a Stampin' Up! event you could get this pack of papers which contain 48 sheets of 12 x 12 papers and covers every event you could imagine. The frame was created by using the Deckled Edged dies and the little clear dots are the new effervescent elements which have an iridescent finish. If you havent seen these yet, why not pop in to the Craft Room and have a look for yourself. I am always happy to pop kettle on.
Would you like to join us on Wednesday for a morning of crafting? There are just a couple of places available and it would be lovely to see you.
My contact details are below if you would like to get in touch about joining us.
Are you free next Friday evening? The monthly crafty get together will take place and includes a game of bingo. The numbers are increasing each month and there are so many different crafts happening, card making, knitting, scrapbooking, putting kits together, crochetting, diamond art, to name just some of them.
Well I had best get a wiggle on. Hubby is cooking lunch today so I will get settled in the craft room. Thank you so much for having a read and again, if I can help with anything, please do get in touch. Tracey x
