Tuesday

Good evening, football on the tv so I thought I would catch up with the blog.

I am still working on the thousands of photographs that I have on the computer.  I do quite a few each day but then I go and download hundreds more....oh well, at least I am working towards clearing them all up.

I have also started working on emptying the cupboards and drawers in the craft room *gasp* I can hear.  It is time to minimise my crating supplies as I believe that I have far to much so each day in my two facebook groups I am offering discounted crafting items in a short video.  This will continue throughout the whole of February.

We had lots of crafting last week and here is one of the cards that I made which was inspired by the Mini Catalogue.

This is a 6 x 6 card, the card base is Daffodil Delight (yellow).  On the Basic White panel, I added some of the die cut images that I had stamped out using the Love For You stamp set.  I then used the Distressed Gold paper to cut out the words 'for you'.  Some pearls were then added which look like little dots in the photo but they do look very cute in real life.  The flowers are Sweet Sorbet, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzaz.

I dont think that I shared some of the cakes that I made during the month of January, so I shall show you those.

The coconut and the bakewell were my favourites and I have another couple I would like to try during February.

We drove up to Nottingham this morning, looking for a mirror for the hall.  We had seen some on line and decided to have a look at them in John Lewis.  Well, they dont have the stock in the shop for us to look at them, which was disappointing.  We asked which of their stores had these mirrors, so we can see them, after a few minutes we discovered that non of the stores had them.  How surprising was that.  So we chose the two we liked the best, asked if they could be delivered to the shop and went to pay for them.  We had to wait for a while whilst the order went through only to be told that no, they couldnt be delivered to the store, they had to be delivered to our home address and then if we dont want them, we have to take them back.  Not the outcome we were expecting but it seems this is the way of ordering now. Exciting wait for new mirror though.

Below is all the information of the current promotions, new catalogues etc. etc.  Do get in touch if I can help in any way.  Thank you for having a read, Tracey x

Those that already know, the starter kit for Stampin' Up! is normally an amazing deal however between now and the end of February it is even more so.  The poster above gives you all the details but if you click on it, it will open on a seperate page and you can read more information about it all.

You can actually order your starter kit as detailed above and then decide if this is something that you want to follow up with.  You can be your own customer as well as share with your friends and family if this is what you prefer, just ordering now and again.  Or you can hold parties, do demonstrations and shout it out to the world if you wish.  I will be very happy to help you with whichever way you want to do it.  Should you think it isnt really something you want to follow up, thats great too.  You just keep everything that you have ordered, no one will ask for it back and you have lots of new products to create with.  My details are below if you would like to have a chat about it.

Sunday

A bit of a catch up

Good morning, up early today.  My 'To Do' list has quite a few jobs to sort out so I would like to get them crossed off as soon as I can.  This then means that I get to spend the afternoon in the Craft Room giving it a good clean and working on a few cards.  I also need to get photographing some as there are a few for sale.

We had a wonderful time at the Derby Dabblers Craft Group last Friday.  Lots of things were happening, card making, diamond art, hat making, crocheting, knitting plus more.

If you fancy joining us next time, we shall meet up again on Friday 24th February, a date to add to your diary.

Our crafty get togethers for January came to an end last week too.  Here is another sample card that was made by Alison using the Grassy Grove stamp set.

Perfect for a ladies birthday card and this is what I CASED at Derby Dabblers with all the extra pieces I had left over from the get togethers.

If you are free this Wednesday afternoon or Thursday evening why not join us for Stampin' Social Masculine Makes.

Or how about a bit of decoupage on bottles that light up and pen pots in two weeks.

Below are all the details of the catalogues and wonderful offers.  If you do need more information, please get in touch.  Wishing you a super Sunday and thank you so much for having a read.  Tracey x

Thursday

Good morning.  A lot warmer this morning when I got up, eventually.  I really did have a lie in but it was well deserved.

Lots happening at home over the last few days which take up so much time and as I have said before, the first thing that stops is the blog.  Hubby has put up some trunking around my office desk to tidy all the wires, cables and plugs so that did put my office area out of action for nearly a week.  Now he has done it wow, so much more space and everything is so accessable now.  It was well worth the wait.  Today I am going through all the drawers and paperwork to get it ship shape and easier to use.

The crafty get togethers are going very well this week and we have another one this evening.  We are having a play with a stamp set called Grassy Gove doing some blending, watercolouring, colouring in as well as stamping.  I shall share these with you next week.  I can share a sample with you that Ruth created when we had our get together recently.

This was created by masking a circle to create a moon and using Night of Navy ink mixed in with other colours.  A piece of torn paper created the hillside that the deer is stood on.  I think this is a smashing card and shows how versatile the stamp set is.

Good morning.  Woke up to snow this morning.   Only a dusting but it is still coming down now.  The forecast is for sunshine so hopefully it will all melt away and I can go out and do a few visits later this afternoon.

Here are a few cards made with another one of the FREE Sale A Bration stamp sets that you can pick.  This is Adorable Owls.
