Good afternoon.  Well the weather may be warm but boy is it wet.  We have had rain on and off for a couple of days an the most awful thunder and lightening storm this afternoon.  Its a good job I am staying home as don't want to get soaked.

I love planning and organising so that is what I am up to.

Happy Birthday Hubby

Good morning and Happy Easter Monday.  Woke up to cloudy skies and everywhere is wet so it must have rained overnight.

Lots planned for today as it is hubby birthday.  One of the daughters came over early this morning and dropped off a couple of presents which are jigsaws, oh how hubby does enjoy doing those.  He has received a great book from the lad that he has been after for a while of Bemrose School, which is where he attended a few years ago.  He has had a few more bits and bobs and I am treating him to a lunch in the shopping centre he likes to visit.

I didn't make a card for him this year as I just couldn't make one as nice as this.

We found it in a garden center on one of our crafty ladies meet ups.  It is really wonderful and he adores it.  Of course I added a few little bits to make it my own, I shall keep it to see what I can do in the future. 

Tonight we are off to his favourite taverna with both daughters and their other halves so it should be a really nice and jolly evening and not a late one either as they have to be up early.

Happy Easter Sunday

Good morning and Happy Easter.  We have a quiet day planned for today, a bit of a wander with lunch later this evening with the girls.

We had a great start to the weekend yesterday with brunch at the Raddison. 

This was followed by quite a few hours of crafting.  We began the wax seal making for the invitations.  I think we got about 130 done, so much easier when there are a few of us.  I still have more to do and hope to finish them on Tuesday.

Twins birthday and Last Chance details

Good morning, up bright an early again today.   I haven’t done much in the last few days as I have come down with laryngitis. I didn’t realise that it made you so poorly, coughing till my sides are painful and bruised, not sleeping, runny nose and the aches and pains, yikes.   I made a visit to see a doctor and I was given some awful medicine and a nose spray.  Feeling tons better today though so will be venturing out. Hoping to continue giving and receiving hugs from the girls.   As you will probably tell with the change of fonts, sizes of letters etc etc. I am using the iPad to write my blog and it really does cause me some issues but it’s not the end of the world. 

Last weekend my twin daughters turned 30.  They couldnt believe that I was their age when they were born, they have no plans to have children of their own just yet.
