Good morning and here we are starting another week. They do come round quite quickly.
So did anyone watch the tennis over the last couple of weeks? Tennis is one of my mums favourites so we spent an hour with her yesterday watching the final. I then came home to watch the rest of it and enjoyed it.
Mum has had a good few days which is always positive. It took me 3 hours last Monday to get through to the doctors and see if I could get someone to visit mum. Well it didnt happen but I did manage to get through on Friday and she had a visit from a nurse practisioner. This nurse is going to recommend that mum goes for some tests and she has increased one of mums tablets so hopefully, she will soon feel better than she did.
Whoop whoop I am so pleased to say that it has returned, I have found it and am using it up as quick as I can. My crafting 'mojo' is back. I have had an amazing weekend crafting with papers, coming up with card ideas using up some of the wonderful papers that I own. Here is one of them, a simple card using the Inked Botanical papers from Stampin' Up!
This is a book binding template (but I am sure it has other names too). I used both sides of the papers and some linen thread. Those Brushed Brass Butterflies are getting on all my projects but they are so cute. Did you notice the Sentiment Dies? These are my latest favourite and are called Something Fancy Dies. More details are below.
I shall be sharing how I made this card today, on Facebook in our group called The Craft Room, Derby-Craft Forum. A list of all the products that I used is below.
If you would like to add to your collection of papers, I have a massive selection of 6x6 papers, 15 sheets for £1 available for collection from the Craft Room. Some of my retired products can be found in a facebook group called Derby Crafting Marketplace. Well worth a look as quite a few other ladies sell their crafting products there too.
Click on the image below and it will take you to the facebook page and you may have to ask to join.
I have a couple of cards to make, a craft room to clean and quite a few emails to send out (sounds a bit like work).
