Good morning. Well Autumn is definately here, all the leaves onthe trees in the garden have just about gone and the majority of the plants have all been sorted. Some have been put in the greenhouse to protect them from frost. We have a few plants with flowers remaining but I feel sure the next lot of wind and rain will take them away. Fortunately we managed to gather some seeds that will get us started next Spring. In fact we have 100s of seeds, all packeted up and I cant wait to get potting but must
The winter pansies are in and add a little colour when you come out of the kitchen and always causes me to smile.
My new friend CPAP is helping no end. I am still waking up refreshed, I still have a brighter look on life and am happy to plod through my day doing what I can do. Who knew? Anyone who has not heard of a CPAP machine (I didnt until 2 weeks ago), it aids breathing whilst sleeping and is wonderful. It is so quiet we dont hear it at all. I was told that I stop breathing at least 16 times an hour each evening whilst I sleep and this machine makes sure I dont do that anymore.
I continue to sit here at my computer most mornings with my foot massage machine and the improvement in my legs is noticable. I suffer from Lymphodema and have been waiting for quite a while to go to the hospital to a Lymphodema clinic to get advice but in the meantime, it is watching what I eat, my revitive machine and massage.
Of course the crafting continues.
I made these Christmas tags. I have used hammered cream card that I have had in my cupboard for more than 10 years. I cut the A4 sheets into 2" strips. These were then cut down again and put into the Stampin' Up! tag punch. Using a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake ink I went around all the edges to give them a vintage look and I am so happy with the way they worked out.
I got a selection of stamps out of my cupboard including Stampin' Up! Cottage Wreath, and older stamps from my stash and stamped out a few at a time using Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake ink as well as Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler. Once the stamping was done I added a sentiment and then the ribbon. Over 60 done and hopefully that will be all I need. Mum is after a few so I will take them over today to see which she prefers.
