Good morning. It is a Bank Holiday for us in the UK. Not too sure what our plans are for today but we most certainly wont be doing too much. The weather is forecast to be dry which is good . Certainly will be spending some time with Hubby.
I have 14 birthdays and Anniversaries over the next eight weeks so I plan on writting all the cards and getting stamps for them so that they are organised. I do hope I am not the only one who does this. I really do struggle with last minute things at the moment.
Good news about my Lymphadrma in my legs. Since I got cellulitus and was put on two courses of antibiotics and some cream, they have improved and come on in leaps and bounds. I am trying my best to keep them rested as and when I can (horizontal on bed) long may it continue. The discolouration and redness is still there but the size of them is nearly normal.
I am still working my way through the photos which will take me many months. I now have 32443 but this will be put on hold for a few weeks. Well it isnt going anywhere so I will pick it up again at the end of October.
Here is a rather unusual card for me. I have used the Adventurous Skies bundle (stamp set and dies).
i really loved having a play with this. I first ran some damp Basic White card through the big shot (I spritzed water on it using the Stampin' Up! Sprays), which was inside one of the set of three Basic 3D embossing folders. I used Boho Blue ink on a blending brush and coloured in the center of the card.
The three airplanes that are in the stamp set were stamped as well as some clouds using Memento ink. I coloured the planes and the clouds in with Stampin' Up! Blend Pens and then ran them through the big shot to cut them out with the co-ordinating dies, it was so easy.
The hardest bit was wondering where to place everything on the card, how silly am I? Do you have a similar issue of not sure where to place things? I eventually stuck them down with a mixture of glue so that they were flat on the card and then raised with 3D foam pads/dimensionals. I am so pleased with how it turned out and it is one of those cards without a sentiment. I am not sure who the card is for so I will add a sentiment to the top of the card when I need to.
A full list of all the products I used is at the end of this post.
Thank you so much for having a read today. Hoping you have a great Bank Holiday Monday. Tracey x
