DAY SIXTY THREE - Delightful Wishes, pancakes and flowers

Good morning, up just before 4am today because the birds have returned.  It is a sure sign that Spring is just around the corner. It is Pancake Day in the UK today.  I usually have one or two after lunch or after dinner with lemon and sugar on them but we eat them as soon as they are made. We dont let them pile up, cant stand warm pancakes, they need to be hot.

I have had a play with the Delightful Wishes stamp set.

This is a two step or rather four step if you create the above.  Stamp the stem followed by the flower image.  Stamp over the flower image with the outline and then this is followed by the leaves.  I loved making this and will be having a play in different colours over the next couple of days. Details of what I have used is below.

The stamp set is also part of a bundle (stamps and dies) as well as a whole suite of products (stamps, dies, papers, embellishments and ribbon).

I was lucky enough to receive not one but two bunches of stunning flowers last week.

I put the very pretty carnations into this wonderful jug style vase and they really stand out.  This is on my kitchen table and just wonderful.

The illies, being so tall went into my 'designer vase' that the girls gave me a few Christmases ago in Cyprus.  We were so very careful and brought it home with me and I adore it.  It makes me feel very special when its out and the lillies are really showcased in it.

Well, I had best go and get myself ready for my day.  Thank you so much for having a read.  Tracey x
