Good morning. A great way to end the week by waking up to sunshine. Not too sure how long it will last though. Hopefully long enough for me to give out the back a bit of a sweep up, the rain really has made a mess overnight.
The Stampin' Up! "Sweet as a Treat" bundle was used to stamp out these lovely images and then the dies to cut them out.
I was determined to get those wonderful little dies used up so another card was made
Still lots of white space and as soon as the gems arrive, I will add a few gems on to it as well.
As previously mentioned in another post, the leaves were stamped in pear pizzaz ink and then using a dauber, I went over the edges with the Evening Evergreen ink which is a lot darker but I love the way it looks. Next I inked up the peaches in Pale Papaya. I used a dauber with Mango Melody and put ink in the middle of each peach and then put Calypso Coral on another dauber, putting this around the edge of each peach. The dies had some dimensionals (3D foam pads) popped onto the back and then placed onto the card.
The sentiment is from the Biggest Wish stamp set. I stamped the word happy out in Calypso Coral and it was fussy cut. The word Birthday was stamped in Pear Pizzaz and that has straight edges on it. If I was making the card again, I think would stamp the word Birthday directly on to the card. Everything that has been used is detailed below and if you have any queries, please do get in touch, I am always happy to help.
I still have lots more ideas and pinterest has really inspired me to make even more using this set of stamps, hope I dont bore you with them all.
