Good morning, a few more photos stored away this morning in my attempt to sort them all out. It seems that I dont need to do them all as soon as possible as we wont loose them when hubby wipes the computer clean. He is hoping to do this at the weekend so I will be keeping my fingers crossed all goes well. I will still spend an hour a day on the photos though, it is a job well worth doing.
Today I am in the craft room getting ready for a get together tomorrow but I wont be doing too much. The arthritis is playing up quite terribly in my right hand so lets hope the medication doesnt take too long to work.
I am sure that I am not the only one to have far to many 12x12 pretty papers, which I have been collecting for over 15 years. So I thought that it is time to use them up one way or another. With this in mind and wanting to 'Revive Retired Products' this months Thank You cards have been made using a retired designer series paper from Stampin' Up! called Pressed Petals.
A base card was created using Soft Suade, Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzaz card stock. A Very Vanilla layer was added on top of that, followed by the very pretty Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper.
A 3/4" strip of card (the same colour as the base card) was adhered across the Designer Series Paper and put on top of this was a Very Vanilla banner with the sentiment taken from the retired stamp set Feels Like Home.
A bow made out of some co-ordinating twine was added with a very small glue dot. I was inspired by a card I saw on facebook using some very nice papers and will use the same design again. If you make a card using these papers or this design please do send it to me so that I can feature it on the blog.
As if I dont already have enough papers, another set have been released by Stampin' Up.
It isnt just papers either, there are stamps, dies, cotton papers, pretty gems and ribbon. Here is a link so you can see them in more detail, just click on the image below.
Did I mention that Stampin' Up! have an amazing joining offer? The starter kit is £130 worth of products that you get to pick yourself from the catalogues. The whole kit, plus catalogues, brochures and other bits and pieces gets delivered to you, FREE of charge and the best thing is, it costs £75. Yes that is correct, you pay £75 for £130 worth of products. So if you wanted the WHOLE of the Eden's Garden Suite, you pay £75 and pick anogher £52.50 worth of products. To find out more please do get in touch as I am always very happy to help.
Thank you so much for having a read today. I hope you have a great day. Tracey x
