Good morning and what a lovely start to the day. I do like waking up to the sunshine.
Today is my mums birthday and it is a special one, she is 80 today. This is the card that has been made for her.
The card was created by using the Hand Penned Petals stamp set, stamped out in black stazon ink. The flowers and leaves were then coloured in using the smaller stamps in the set and the 2021-2023 In Color ink pads, oh, the yellow is Bumblebee. A total of 5 images were stamped out and then fussy cut. The front of the card has a 2" panel of Fresh Fresia In Color 6x6 designer series paper going down the left hand side. Prior to sticking this down, Fresh Fresia ink was applied with a blending brush through one of the masks that Stampin' Up! have. This is a great technique. The sentiment was typed out on the computer and a matt of retired Seaside Spray card was placed behind this, which was raised on dimensionals. A few In Color self adhesive gems were placed on the card. The flowers were also added to the card insert and the envelope.
A wonderful bouquet of fresh flowers and presents were taken round yesterday so she could open them this morning and we shall be popping in for a cuppa and cake later in the day.
