Let's Celebrate cards with Expressions in Ink Designer Series Papers

Good morning.  An early start for me today but only because I couldnt sleep.  I shall be having a nanny nap after lunch thats for sure.  But before that it will be a little more re-organising with the help of Mr. A.  I would like to shuffle a few things around as they say a change is as good as a rest.

Did I tell you that our trip to see the girls had been cancelled once again?  Never mind, we shall just re-book and see if we can visit them a little later in the year.

That does mean that I get a little more time to loose a little weight, time to start planning out the hall referbishment and time to do a little more in the craft room.  I am so fortunate that the girls ring me daily and not just once a day either.  It would be nice to give them a hug though.

I have a couple of very easy cards for you today using the amazing Expressions in Ink Designer Papers from Stampin' Up!  If you havent seen these yet you really do need to take a look at them.

You get 12 sheets of double sided 12x12 papers and the price is £14 a pack.  If you would like to see these in the flesh, so to speak and live local to Derby please do get in touch.  If you have already seen them and would like to order a pack or just half a pack do let me know so that I can arrange this for you. My details are a little further down the page.

And here they are in a little more detail

To start with I cut up one of the 12 x 12 sheets that has a pattern running across the middle of the page, in in half, lengthways so that I have the pattern on each piece.  Then I cut this up again to give me 3 pieces of patterned paper with the pattern just in the top part of the papers.

I stamped a sentiment on each of the papers, adhered one to Pear Pizzaz card and then put this on to a basic white card base.

On this one I adhered the pattern piece onto a Basic White piece of card before putting both of them on to a Pear Pizzaz card base.
I dont know which I prefer, they are both nice and can be used for lots of occasions.  I also think that these cards can be sent to any lady or gent in our lives.

Do you have a favourite?  For the little self adhesive co-ordinating dots, I used Rhinestone Jewels and coloured them in with the Evening Evergreen Blend pen.  There are still lots more cards you can make with these papers and I shall have fun sharing some more ideas with you.  I have included a full list of everything I used to make these cards at the bottom of this post.

For all orders of £35 or more you can have free shipping on 24th June.  If you would like something that doesnt come to that value, please do get in touch as I can order it for you and add it on to all the other little bits and pieces that other folk want.  All you will have to do is come to the Craft Room in Alvaston to collect your goodies.
