Sunday

DAY NINETEEN - Delightful Wishes

Good morning, woke up to a rather cold and damp Sunday.  Today I shall be working through my to do list as well as getting the chores done as I go.  Nothing beats getting ready for the week ahead.

It is the last day that Sophia, my daughter, will be pregnant.  She is having a baby tomorrow, her first, so we shall welcome another grandson into the world.  Such an exciting time for us all.  Two grandsons in less than a year, how lucky are we.

I am really pleased to say that my mum is doing an awful lot better these days, she has vascular dementia aswell as Alzhimers.  She still doesnt have the strength nor co ordination to move her legs to well but her arms have started to work again and she is able to eat on her own once more.   Having gone from not communicating at all, she is a right chatterbox on some days.  She seems brighter and understands quite a lot.  We do get the odd statements, wanting to go home, waiting for her mum to pick her up, having another day off work etc. but we dont mind those.  After not hearing her talk for so long it is just wonderful to sit and listen to her.  Dad is now having some help in a morning as well as early evening which is good. He is still insisting on doing everything else though.

Here is a card I made that I know has been received so I can share it.  I used the new Delightful Wishes stamp set.

The image is created by using 4 different stamps, the stem, one for the flowers, an outline for the flowers, followed by the leaves.  It really does have a Spring feel to it using the yellow colours.  I cant wait to play with this set a little more.

There is a whole suite of products using this stamp set, co-ordinating papers, vellums, ribbon and embellishments which have just come out in the new January - April Mini Catalogue.

Well I had best go and get myself ready for my busy Sunday.  Of course there will be a Sunday Roast lunch and lots of visitors from family so it will be an enjoyable one.   Thanks for having a read Tracey x
