DAY ONE HUNDRED AND FOURTEEN - Free Shipping, Garden and organising the punches

Good morning, a very large and very noisy aeroplane woke me up around 4am.  It either found some other noisy friends or it was circling the house a few times but the noise was better than any alarm clock.  Of course, the birds were woken up to and decided to have a choir practise outside my bedroom window on a telephone wire we have outside.  They won, I got up and made a cuppa.

t was supposed to have been a rainy day yesterday but apart from the showers in the morning, it turned out quite nice.  I am pleased to say that the garden has had a good soaking over the last couple of days and some of the flowers are really blooming now.

I did manage to get a few bits done in between showers, in the garden as you can see.  I love wandering round and seeing what has grown or needs a little help.  Did you notice the Sweetpea frame?  Hubby made it on his 3D printer and hopefully the sweet peas will be growing around it over the next few weeks.   I find it very calming.

FREE shipping on all orders of £60 or more.  You can get your goodies delivered straight to your door today and tomorrow free of charge.  If you would like just a few bits and bobs and not £60s worth do let me know.  We can get a group order organised and you can just nip and collect it locally.

Dont forget, any orders of £20 or more will earn you Stampin' Rewards.  That is 10% of your order value to be spent in the future.  Sounds like a great offer to me.  Do let me know if you have any queries.

I have been busy in the craft room organising.  Yes organising and decluttering is another of my passions.  This time it was punches.  I have quite a few punches and I went through them all and punched out those that didnt already have a tab.  I take a piece of card 3" x 4", place the punch towards the bottom of the card and punch it out.  I then adhere another piece of card to cover the space created by the punch, so that you can see what it is and add the punch description.  I then use my crop-o-dile to make a hole in the top of the tab and put a ring throuh it.  This was all my tabs are in one place, I can see what punches I have and if certain sentiments will fit inside.  I can also add R to anything that is retired.  It keeps them organised.

Thank you so much for having a read today.  I am lucky enough to be able to spend the day crafting, whoop whoop. Off to make a start Tracey x

Tuesday

DAY-ONE HUNDRED AND TWELVE Free Shipping and Lovliest Tree with Stampin' Write Markers

Good morning.  To do list is written and I am off out and about very early this morning.  I shall be visiting our town center but it wont be for too long as there isnt too much there to keep me occupied anymore.

Then its a visit to the optician as I opted for varifocal glasses.  I can see the distance and I can see close up but, no middle vision at all.  This means no computer work and no reading things that are just out of view.  My optician however is amazing and he has sent off for more lenses to see if the middle vision section can be adjusted.... we shall see *no pun intended*

I woke up this morning to this news

Is there something that you would like to pick first?  Such a wonderful offer, especially when you get 10% of your actual order back as Stampin' Rewards to use towards something next time.

I have been having a play with Lovliest Tree stamp set and some Stampin' Write Markers.

Such a wonderful way to spend an hour or two, having a play and then turning them into cards, which I will share later.  Have you tried this technique before?

If you would like more information about how to do this please, do get in touch and I will see if I can help.

Thank you for having a read today, Tracey x

Monday

DAY - ONE HUNDRED AND ELEVEN Easter 2025

Good morning, another Monday but today is a little bit special with it being Easter Monday.

I have had a super Easter Weekend which started with brunch with a lovely bunch of friends.  We went to Hilton, somewhere new for me and its a place I shall certainly be going one to in the very near future.

Easter Sunday was a very quiet day, its such a special day for me and I did feel quite sad not to be with the family.  I shall make sure that next year will be a family day so that we can celebrate it together.  I did feel very lucky to have recieved so many wonderful cards and gifts and the alcohol will go down a treat *wink*

I had spent some time getting ready for Easter and made some lovely decorations that can come out each year.

Day one, the cans were washed, scrubbed and passed on to hubby to make holes on either side, so that I could attach a handle. We had to watch our fingers though as some of the tops were very sharp.

Day two, the paint came out, an undercoat painted with a brush in the morning and then a second coat put on with a sponge in the afternoon. I cut out all the rabbits from paper napkins whilst waiting for them to dry.

Day three, using PVA glue on a brush, I stuck the napkins to the tins. I had to wait a whole day for them to dry properly.

Day four, using a brush I put a coating of modge podge all over the tins to seal them and to make sure that the rabbits couldnt escape.

Day five, added some beads to wire and then used the wire to create mock handles. The glue gun came out so that I could stick the beads in place. Added sand to each tin, pouring in through a little funnel so as not to make a mess and put the carrots in place. As the weather was so nice, I sat outside to add the moss to the top of the tins. Some ribbon was tied on.

Loved making them and it is something that I shall do again next year...I shall start saving my cans.

I also had fun with my Easter cards this year, two very different ones and I hope that the postman delivered them in time.

Both cards were created using rather old elements from my stash.

It is Derby Dabblers this Friday night, a wonderful evening with lovely ladies. I do look forward so much to this get together. If you fancied joining us you are most welcome to.

No events in the Craft Room this week but you invited to pop in at any time to see the new products that I have received from Stampin' Up! and grab the 2025-2026 Annual Catalogue. Lots of bargains to be had on the sales dresser. I am always happy to pop the kettle on.

Well I had best get myself in the shower and start my day. I do hope you have a wonderful Easter Monday and thank you for having a read x
