DAY-ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR - Pretty Delightful Wishes Double Accordian Gatefold Card and so much more

 

Good morning.  I am hoping that this week will be a tad quieter and not as busy as the last week.  I really cant keep doing all the things I want to do in just one day, I really am not superwoman even though I think I am.  I do believe that by keeping busy it keeps me going.  A slower pace this week though.

So last week we had a wonderful get together on Monday, photos to follow.  It was the last day of the crafting get togethers in the craft room with lovely folk.  Friday morning saw me out having a cuppa and card morning in our local Insomnia cafe and Friday night myself and a lovely couple of ladies got through some kits together, we also put the world to rights, as you do.  I cant tell you how lucky I feel to have such wonderful friends.  Something I shall never take for granted.

Here is one of the cards we made over the last couple of weeks.

 


I saw a card that a fellow demonstrator Tami White, created a few month ago and just knew that I had to replicate it.  It is called a Double Accordian Gatefold Card and it does use quite a lot of card and some designer series papers but just perfect for a special card.  And the bonus is that it fold down and it fits perfectly in an envelope.  I may make a box for those that I hand out though.

I also made the same card using other papers that have retired, well we do have to use all those pretty papers up dont we?

 

It was also hubbys birthday so we got on a train and went a few miles up the road to a 1940's revival.  What a day that was but more about that later in the week.
