Good morning, another start to another week. The weather here is supposed to be lovely too. You cant beat waking up to sunshine.
I have had a super weekend, Saturday was the Spring Clean day, well doing as much as I can and yesterday was spent in the craft room with friends. It was glorious weather and hubby was out in the garden getting it looking neater. We are in the process of cleaning our garden bench and I am hoping I can get to sit out on it later this week.
My morning is going to be spent with a group of friend in the Craft Room. We shall be playing with a couple of stamp sets making cards and tags. Really looking forward to welcoming a couple of new ladies to our group.
I will be chilling in the garden this afternoon before meeting up with a few friends for a bit of a wander. My legs wont take me far but it will be nice to see everyone and then its an evening with my feet up. It is hubbys birthday in a couple of days so will have to get a card made for him....so much choice.
Speaking of cards
Here is a card that was created for my daughter in law. I do hope she liked it. It was created with a little white heat embossing the wonderful Elements of Text stamp. I then used blending brushed along with Soft Sea Foam ink to go over the text to give it the colour.
Mixed Florals stamp set came next with the Echinacea flower from the set, this was stamped and water coloured in using the Stampin' Up! ink pads. It was fussy cut out, goodness knows why as the die cuts it out beautifully. A few sequins and a sentiment typed up and added. I loved creating this and in fact, I have made quite a few more. Such a wonderful set
The Mixed Florals and the Elements of Text are both on the Online Exclusive section of the Stampin' Up Website.
I had best go and get myself sorted before we have a craftroom full of folk. Thank you for having a read today. Tracey x
