Good morning, what a lovely but chilly start to the day in my neck of the woods. Its only 2 degrees but going up to a sunny 16 degrees this afternoon. I shall be sat on our newly stained bench in the sunshine with a cuppa later. I love to sit there watching the world go by.
But first I am off to the hospital for a blood test. It seems that one doctor wants me to change my statin. After being on it for 14 years I am told that there are better ones for me to take without side effects. Urmmm but I dont have side effects. So I have insisted on further investigations. I also have a regular 3 monthly blood test for my Rhumatoid Arthritis as the injections I put weekly to help with this illness can damage my liver and kidneys so we keep an eye on that. Then another doctor said I need blood tests for a general MOT, I do hope that they leave some blood in me today.
This is one of the card options everyone had over the last few weeks to make using the Mixed Floral stamp set and dies.
We started off with a thick basic white card base. Heat embossed the Elements of Text stamp using versamark and white embossing powder, onto Soft Sea Foam card. We then created an apature in basic white card using one of the dies from the Stylish Shapes Dies set.
The sentiment was stamped in Pebbled Path ink before attaching the largest die from the Mixed Floral set of dies. The apature piece and the die cut foliage was then adhered to the Soft Sea Foam card with the embossed words before raising both layers onto dimensionals to go on the base card. Does that make sense? Well I love this card and the colours and cant wait to try it out again using one or two of the new Stampin' Up! 2025-2027 In Colors.
For details of what we used to recreate this card please, have a look at the end of this post as I have added all the products.
If you have half an hour free and fancy a cuppa and crafty chat, why not pop in to the Craft Room to collect one of the new Annual Brochures and have a browse through the sales dresser?Always happy to pop the kettle on.
