Good morning. A busy day for us today but an exciting one too. We are off to grab a few hugs from the girls, you cant beat that feeling.
What fun I had with this card. It is for our grand daughter who is twenty today
The card base is a retired colour called Roco Rose and I created a tent fold card. The stamped image has been stamped with versamark and sprinkled with white embossing powder before heating it up. Do you do heat embossed images, oh how I love to watch them 'turn'
Once the image had settle down (I gave it a good half and hour), I got to work with a pink, a green, a blue and a gray and took my time colouring it in. I cant tell you how much I enjoyed doing it. Once I was happy with the image I cut it down and adhered it on to a GRAY mat and layed them both onto the card base using 3 D foam pads/dimensionals. The stamp set I used was Happy Birthday which has sadly retired but those that know me have realised that I do hang on to a lot of my stamps sets because retired or not, I still love to use them.
Using the same gray card I die cut out Millies name. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from another retired Stamp set call Lable me Bold.
With a blend pen, I coloured in some basic rhinestone jewells to finish the card off.
