Sunday

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY ONE - Layers of Beauty and 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Papers

Good morning and today is a Sunday with sunshine.  There is a breeze so it feels a little cooler but I do know it isnt.

After our cooling trip to Ikea for the day, we have a few bits to build up today, the royal we of course.  It is two bedside cabinets today to put the new bedside lights on.  We are just trying to make the apartment as comfortable and as easy for us to use as possible.

Yesterday was such a busy day, we visited the girls, had lunch from a street food vendor in the mall (which is really air conditioned), followed by a little food shopping.  It was an evening at a beachside bar followed by feet up and watching the Celine Dione documentary...very sad.

So it is the last day of June which means that it is the very last day you can get a super discount in the bundle sale.  This also includes the die cutting and embossing machines.

If you need any help with placing an order please, do let me know and I shall be very happy to help.  All my contact details are below.

Here is a card that Paula made at a recent get together that we had.

Paula created a base card with Night of Navy card, layered with Basic White card and another layer of Night of Navy.  She has then adhered strips of the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series paper to it to create a wonderful background.  The floral image, from Layers of Beauty stamp set was stamped onto Basic White card and then cut out.  This image could be cut out by hand or by using the co-ordinating dies that are included in the bundle (which is also on offer today).  Did you know that the bundle includes the masks as well?

Paula has used the same stamp set to create the sentiment.  A few well placed embellishments finishes the card off perfectly.

Well I had best get my day started before it gets too hot to do anything.  Thank you so much for having a read.  Tracey x

Thursday

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY EIGHT - Layers of Beauty

Good morning, who knew that there was such a think as Ice Cream Cake day?  Well we shall be going out later and I shall look for some.  The first time I purchased an Ice Cream Cake was when you could get something called an arctic roll.  This was sponge wrapped around ice cream.  I purchases one ready for some visitors that were coming for dinner.  I popped it on a plate and put it in a corner in the kitchen to thaw..... I only did it the once and I was very young.

I am managing to get quite a few nanny cuddles and Alexandros is such a cutie.  So far he is well behaved and mum is getting lots of small naps with longer ones in the night.

i wanted to share this card with you that Sally made recently at a creative crew get together.

She has used the wonderful Basic Beige which Stampin' up! introduced this year.  There is the card, the ink and ribbon,  The stamped image is from Layers of Beauty stamp set.  Just a perfect set for any Wedding Anniversary.

I had best go and get a few bits and pieces sorted out prior to going for a paddle.  Thank you so much for having a read.  Tracey x

Wednesday

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SEVEN - A card of older crafting products are mixed with new crafting products

Good morning and it's going to be a rather high temperature in paradise today.  We shall be off out first thing and then we can chill at the pool or the beach later in the day.

Yesterday was full of visitors and odd jobs. The air conditioning units got serviced and cleaned.  Two wonderful chappies came to see us and within a couple of hours, it was all done.

We had to have another two fly screens repaired but what a brilliant service that was.  The chap, Corin, called round first thing in the morning, took the frames away with him and at lunchtime came back all done and dusted.  Fly screens are a necessity to keep out the mosquitos...pesky blighters.

Early morning cuppa with a friend we have made at the complex and later in the day a guy came to give us a quote for some work we may want doing, depending on the price of course.

It was then a mad dash to see the girls, Alexandros before coming home to watch the football.

Here is a card that was made for my grand nephew.  I have discovered today that my neices son, Ollie, is officially known as my grand nephew which makes me his grand aunt.  Isnt the English language wonderful.

A little bit of ‘old & new’ with this card. The ‘old’ part of the card is the stamp. It is extremely old, over 20 years, wooden and gets used lots and lots as to me, it is perfect for any age. Ollie turned 14 and is a typical lad into football, gaming etc. etc. but I have sent all these type of cards in the past so this little fella was just perfect.
The ‘new’ part of the card is everything Stampin’ Up! The thick basic white card stock to create a card base. All the colours inks to colour in the image. Blending brushes and inks to give a bit of shading around the image and of course what I haven’t shown you is the envelope. Did you know that Stampin’ Up! have there own quality envelopes too?
The sentiment is generated on the computer, just because I thinks it’s lovely to get a card with your name on it.

Thank you so much for having a read, I am off out before it gets too hot. Tracey x

Monday

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SIX -Cake fancy and bundle sale

Good afternoon and what a glorious afternoon it is for me, here in the warmer village of Pyla which is in Cyprus.

We arrived last week after my daughter gave birth to her first child a little earlier than anticipated and wow, what a cutie he is.  I have had cuddles and hope to have lots more whilst we are here.  Both he, Alexandros, mum and dad are doing well and adjusting to their new life.

It is wonderful being here but boy, the heat is playing havoc with my legs.  They are so swollen and despite putting them up every now and again, nothing is helping.  We have been to the beach and had a dip in the rather cold water but that doesnt seem to do much either.  Oh well, I shall continue with the diet and keep trying to lose a little weight to see if that helps me.

Did you know that there is only this week remaining to grab the additional 10% off the stamp and dies bundle as well as the die cutting/embossing machines.  If you would like to know a little more about this offer please, do get in touch with me.  All my contact details are below and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

By clicking on the image below, it should take you directly to the shop, opening on another page, so that you can have a browse as to what is on offer.

Just before coming away I had a play with Stampin' Up! stamp set Cake Fancy and created this card.  The sentiment was generated on the computer.

I know the card has been received and can share it .  I think this will be the first of many of these cards, I loved making it and shall fun trying it with different colours.

Well thank you for having a read, I shall get all caught up in a day or two, it has just been rather busy.  Have a wonderful day, whatever you may be up to x

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY EIGHT - Catching up with kits

Good morning, another start to another week and this one is a little different for us.  Nothing on the 'to do' list but tomorrow I expect to be starting another list.

Here are a few 'Thank You' cards that I have made and given/posted out.  Not too sure how long things take in the post these days, second class but I do hope they all get there

Stampin' Up! kits are really great especially if you have lost your creative flow or just want something to do that helps you with colour co-ordination, to do something totally diffeent etc. etc.  We have a monthly kit night and the next one is on Friday 19th June.  If you fancied coming along do get in touch and book your place.  I wil happily get a kit in ready for you to make up with like minded folk.

Thanks for having a read today,  Tracey x

Friday

DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE - Dahlia Flower Fold and gardens

Good morning.  Oh I do like waking up on a Friday and today is no different.  I am out and about this morning and then I shall be in the craft room ticking off the list of cards that need to be ready for tomorrow afternoon.

Some good news, my youngest daughter became a mum on Wednesday oh my.  She had a baby boy, Alexandros who arrived by C Section.  He weighed a very healthy 7 1/2llb.  In just a few days I shall be going to meet him.  He wasnt due until 24th of the month and I planned on being there a week earlier than that but, he just couldnt wait.  I am still so happy and thrilled to be a 'yaya' as nanas are called in Cyprus.

Alison M created this wonderful card at a get together we had last month.  She has used the Countryside Inn Designer Series Papers which are papers that have carried over from the previoius Stampin' Up! catalogue.

The template of the card has a name 'Dahlia Flower Fold' and I can certainly see way.  She has been inspired to create this card from Simply Simple Stamping.  The card base has been created using Pretty in Pink card stock, one of the five In Colours this year.  I love the way the blue of the designer series papers stands out against the Pretty in Pink card.

The watering system in the garden is all up and running.  We have had to test it out despite having lots of rain and I am so pleased it all works.  Lots of nipping round, dead heading and moving pots over the last few days but so pleased with how it all looks.

This is how the garden at the back of the house looked when we moved in back in July 2024.

Here are a few pictures of what was happending during the change in 2019

The view of the garden today, totally different.

Well, thank you for having a read today.  I hope you have a lovely start to your weekend.  Tracey x
