DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SEVEN - A card of older crafting products are mixed with new crafting products

Good morning and it's going to be a rather high temperature in paradise today.  We shall be off out first thing and then we can chill at the pool or the beach later in the day.

Yesterday was full of visitors and odd jobs. The air conditioning units got serviced and cleaned.  Two wonderful chappies came to see us and within a couple of hours, it was all done.

We had to have another two fly screens repaired but what a brilliant service that was.  The chap, Corin, called round first thing in the morning, took the frames away with him and at lunchtime came back all done and dusted.  Fly screens are a necessity to keep out the mosquitos...pesky blighters.

Early morning cuppa with a friend we have made at the complex and later in the day a guy came to give us a quote for some work we may want doing, depending on the price of course.

It was then a mad dash to see the girls, Alexandros before coming home to watch the football.

Here is a card that was made for my grand nephew.  I have discovered today that my neices son, Ollie, is officially known as my grand nephew which makes me his grand aunt.  Isnt the English language wonderful.

A little bit of ‘old & new’ with this card. The ‘old’ part of the card is the stamp. It is extremely old, over 20 years, wooden and gets used lots and lots as to me, it is perfect for any age. Ollie turned 14 and is a typical lad into football, gaming etc. etc. but I have sent all these type of cards in the past so this little fella was just perfect.
The ‘new’ part of the card is everything Stampin’ Up! The thick basic white card stock to create a card base. All the colours inks to colour in the image. Blending brushes and inks to give a bit of shading around the image and of course what I haven’t shown you is the envelope. Did you know that Stampin’ Up! have there own quality envelopes too?
The sentiment is generated on the computer, just because I thinks it’s lovely to get a card with your name on it.

Thank you so much for having a read, I am off out before it gets too hot. Tracey x
