DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE - Dahlia Flower Fold and gardens

Good morning.  Oh I do like waking up on a Friday and today is no different.  I am out and about this morning and then I shall be in the craft room ticking off the list of cards that need to be ready for tomorrow afternoon.

Some good news, my youngest daughter became a mum on Wednesday oh my.  She had a baby boy, Alexandros who arrived by C Section.  He weighed a very healthy 7 1/2llb.  In just a few days I shall be going to meet him.  He wasnt due until 24th of the month and I planned on being there a week earlier than that but, he just couldnt wait.  I am still so happy and thrilled to be a 'yaya' as nanas are called in Cyprus.

Alison M created this wonderful card at a get together we had last month.  She has used the Countryside Inn Designer Series Papers which are papers that have carried over from the previoius Stampin' Up! catalogue.

The template of the card has a name 'Dahlia Flower Fold' and I can certainly see way.  She has been inspired to create this card from Simply Simple Stamping.  The card base has been created using Pretty in Pink card stock, one of the five In Colours this year.  I love the way the blue of the designer series papers stands out against the Pretty in Pink card.

The watering system in the garden is all up and running.  We have had to test it out despite having lots of rain and I am so pleased it all works.  Lots of nipping round, dead heading and moving pots over the last few days but so pleased with how it all looks.

This is how the garden at the back of the house looked when we moved in back in July 2024.

Here are a few pictures of what was happending during the change in 2019

The view of the garden today, totally different.

Well, thank you for having a read today.  I hope you have a lovely start to your weekend.  Tracey x
