DAY ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY THREE - 1st June with Derby Dabblers, Thoughtful Wishes and crafty tools

Good afternoon and hello June...white rabbits, white rabbits, white rabbits.

We ended the month of May with a wonderful evening last night, it was the get together of the Derby Dabblers.  This is a craft club in Alvaston, Derby.

You may need to click on the above images to make them a little larger.  I so look forward to our monthly meet ups, there is so much laughter and 'goings on' that you have to be there to understand why it is so funny.  Another wonderful turn out and lots of crafty bits happening.   I wont be at the June get together but I know that lots of other lovely ladies will be there to welcome you if you fancy popping along.

Hubby has been busy in his 'factory' as he calls it.  He has just made these, as requested by Sue.

They are stamping platform gliders (some call it a chukkie and not the egg type).  They are
75mm (3”) diameter base with a 5mm thick felt pad. There are two different sized ball grips 45mm and 55mm.  The 55mm is perfect for anyone with dexterity issues and for me, its wonderful.
Should anyone want one of these, he is happy to make them to order in blue, brown, green, white or jade as in the picture below. He is asking £3.50 each and I know that mine is making such a difference for me.

I created these little tags to go on the bags which these stamping platform gliders will go in, as well as the wool holders he has made.   I used a 2" piece of card that I put through one of the tag punches.  The stamp set is called Thoughtful Wishes and I coloured the leaves and stems with the Old Olive Stampin' Write pen and for the flowers, I used Boho Blue.  Added some retired bakers twine through the top of the tag and the sentiment Thanks, again from the same stamp set.  The look lovely on the packages.

These are the wool holders/spinners that he has been busy making.  I am quite proud of all the bits and pieces he keeps coming up with.

Being the first of the month there is a brand new host code that you can use.  Should you place an order through my online store, just pop this code into the top right hand corner and I will send you a thank you for shopping through the online shop.  If you are struggling with placing an order just get in touch and I will very happily help you.

Thank you so much for having a read.  Tracey x
