DAY ONE HUNDRED AND SIXTY THREE - Gardens, Allium and Expressions of Kindness

Good morning.   I had a wonderful day yesterday, it certainly was a day with friends, so lucky to have them in my life.  We spent most of it in the craft room catching up with each other,  followed by an afternoon stroll with my walking wanderers and a cuppa at the end.   After a bite to eat which hubby got ready for me, it was another couple of hours catching up with friends.

Today is a little quieter but lots of nipping in and out.  There will most certainly be a nanny nap after lunch as the birds (their parents and their children) all woke me up at silly o clock.

Here are a few photos of a plant we purchased at the Royal Flower Show last July, an Allium.  I am amazed at how tall it has grown and the flowers on it are superb.  It doesnt like being in the wind which we disovered and so the leaves have gone all curly and brown.  Next year it will have to stay rather sheltered.  It is now part of the garden, connected to the watering system so that it gets watered whilst we are away.

We had our monthly 'Kit Night' last Friday. This is where we all meet up and make up the Stampin' Up! kits we have as well as laugh, drink tea/coffee and eat home made cakes.
Well, I cant tell you how much I love the brand new Expressions of Kindness Kit.

This Kit includes:
* Expressions of Kindness Photopolymer Stamp Set
* Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Spot
* Pre-designed projects
* Step-by-step instructions
* Pre-cut pieces (No prep work! Get right to crafting)
* Make 8 cards, 4 each of 2 designs
* 8 printed card bases
* 8 printed envelopes
* Folded card: 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" (14 x 10.8 cm)
* Printed die-cut images and gold foil labels
* Adhesive-backed gold sparkle gems
* Enough adhesive to complete projects

The image on the cards goes all the way around and the envelopes are far too nice to use as envelopes. My favourite stamp says 'kindly deliver to'.
I may even have to purchase another kit.

Well I had best go and get my skates on.  I need to be at the hairdressers shortly, oppps.  Thank you so very much for having a read today.  Tracey x
