Christmas tags and Last Chance Product Sale

Good morning.  Well Autumn is definately here, all the leaves onthe trees in the garden have just about gone and the majority of the plants have all been sorted.  Some have been put in the greenhouse to protect them from frost.  We have a few plants with flowers remaining but I feel sure the next lot of wind and rain will take them away.  Fortunately we managed to gather some seeds that will get us started next Spring.  In fact we have 100s of seeds, all packeted up and I cant wait to get potting but must

The winter pansies are in and add a little colour when you come out of the kitchen and always causes me to smile.

My new friend CPAP is helping no end.  I am still waking up refreshed, I still have a brighter look on life and am happy to plod through my day doing what I can do.  Who knew?  Anyone who has not heard of a CPAP machine (I didnt until 2 weeks ago), it aids breathing whilst sleeping and is wonderful.  It is so quiet we dont hear it at all.  I was told that I stop breathing at least 16 times an hour each evening whilst I sleep and this machine makes sure I dont do that anymore.

I continue to sit here at my computer most mornings with my foot massage machine and the improvement in my legs is noticable.  I suffer from Lymphodema and have been waiting for quite a while to go to the hospital to a Lymphodema clinic to get advice but in the meantime, it is watching what I eat, my revitive machine and massage.

Of course the crafting continues.

I made these Christmas tags.  I have used hammered cream card that I have had in my cupboard for more than 10 years.  I cut the A4 sheets into 2" strips.  These were then cut down again and put into the Stampin' Up! tag punch.  Using a sponge dauber and Crumb Cake ink I went around all the edges to give them a vintage look and I am so happy with the way they worked out.

I got a selection of stamps out of my cupboard including Stampin' Up! Cottage Wreath, and older stamps from my stash and stamped out a few at a time using Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake ink as well as Early Espresso and Cherry Cobbler.  Once the stamping was done I added a sentiment and then the ribbon.  Over 60 done and hopefully that will be all I need.  Mum is after a few so I will take them over today to see which she prefers.

Stampin' Up! have a sale on some of the products in the Mini Catalogue.  There is up to 60% off some products and you can find them all here.  Just click on the image below and it will open up in a new page.  If you need any help with anything please do get in touch, all my contact details are below.

I am still sorting through all my photos and have 31,789 to go.  Sitting for a while each day will get them all sorted eventually.  It is certainly something I enjoy doing.

Well thank you for having a read today.  I do hope you have a super Tuesday x

Monday

Winter Meadow Designer Series Papers, Online Exclusive and a Sale

Good morning and what a chilly start to the day brrrr.  Heating has gone on for an hour or so whilst I have my shower, its such a shame that we have to think twice about heating the house but we must.  On the positive side, it is warmer than it was yesterday.

The operation I was due to have last Thursday has been cancelled!!  I need to wait another 3 months which will soon fly by I am sure.  When I went for my pre-op (lots of tests prior to having surgery), it was discovered that I had a heart murmur as well as sleep apnea.  I didnt know I had either so lots more tests were needed.  I had an urgent scan of my heart and an urgent Apnea test.  So now I use a CPAP machine when I go to bed each night.  I was told that I stop breathing 16 times each hour, oh my.  This CPAP machine doesnt allow me to stop breathing but it also means that I no longer snore.  I cant tell you how much better I feel each morning when I wake up.  I still have all the aches and pains you get with arthritis but I feel so much more, me.  I have more energy, feel more alert and it has made quite a bit of difference in such a short time.

This does mean that I can plan a few get togethers over the next 3 months rather than spending time recovering from the operation (that now will be from February - April).

The first thing I have planned is to hold the final 2023 Festive Friday.  My intension is to make lots of gift tags because as you know, I always run out.

If you would like to come along and join us, please do get in touch to book your place.  My contact details are below.

I have taken part in a challenge over the last two weeks and it has made me sort out all my half finished cards and pop them in the 'For Sale' boxes

The challenge yesterday was to make something Festive.

So I made a card using the wonderful Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper.  Here I teamed it up with Misty Moonlight and I got the Deckled Edge Circle Dies out for the first time, oh I have been so excited to use these.  I finished it all off with a matching envelope, do you do this?  The Stampin' Up! envelopes are perfect for decorating the flap as it is a perfect shape to add Designer Series Paper. I shall be doing a Facebook Live showing how I created this card and envelope later today.

Earlier in the week, Stampin' Up! introduced some new products in their Online Exclusive range.  This means that they are not in the catalogues but can only be seen online.  Here they are
