Friday

Fantastic Friday

Good morning and I most certainly do have that Friday feeling.  The weather forecast for today is good too, so a great start to the weekend.

I am being brave again tomorrow.  Sorry, the poster doesnt seem to be in focus, I am not sure why that is but I hope you get the general idea.

If you would like to join us on Zoom to make a card, insert and envelope that all match, please get in touch.  I will send you an email invitation so that you can sign in with us.  If you would like to join but dont yet know how to use Zoom please tell me and today I can help you with this.  It is a lot easier than you think and the benefits are wonderful as you can actually see other people and talk to like minded folk.

Here are the cards that I made for the Grandparents of baby George.

I used a rather older stamp from Stampin' Up! one of those that I couldnt part with and teamed it up with a bit of water colouring, matted on Blue/White card.  I do like making cards with lots of white space.

However, I also like making cards using Stampin' Up! papers

In just a few days, you wont be able to get your hands on any of these papers.

I shall be placing an order tomorrow evening and if you would like any of these papers, or just a share of them, do let me know and I can organise that for you.

Well I had best go and start my day, thank you so much for having a read.  Wishing you a fantastic Friday, Tracey x

Thursday

Hello George and Brownie

Good morning, another warm one is forecast for today so up bright and early to get rid of the chores before it gets too hot.

We had a lovely Craft Zoom session yesterday.  The next one is on Saturday afternoon, if you would like to join us, you are most welcome, just let me know before Saturday lunch time so that I can send you an email invite.

One of our lovely crafting friends gave birth to a little boy recently and this is the card I made.

It is a very old stamp set but all coloured in using various Stampin' Up! colours.   Speaking of new additions, Katerina has had a dog that was in search of a new home.

This is Brownie.  She has wanted a Beagle since she was a little girl and Brownie wasnt too good as a hunting dog so the owner wanted to find another home for her.  Katerina was in the right place at the right time to get her.  She is settling in well and getting used to living in a home rather than outside in a cage, big changes for them all.

Just a few more days of the current catalogue from Stampin' Up! Lots of chances to get your hands on some wonderful offers in the link below.

Now that we just about have a new catalogue coming into place, have you ever thought about joining Stampin' Up? getting all the news first, trying out new products before they are released and getting everything at a discounted price?  If you have this could be the ideal time to join, please get in touch to find out more and to see if this is something for you.

Well I had best go and get ready to start my day.  Thank you so much for having a read *waving at Sally*, have a wonderful Wednesday opps it is Thursday so have a great Thursday instead.  Tracey x

Tuesday

Terrific Tuesday

Good morning, a large very noisy plane woke me up this morning at 5am, I wonder if it was the same last Tuesday? I must check that.  Anyway I am up and ready to start my day.

We had a lovely Bank Holiday even if I didnt remember until Sunday morning that it was Bank Holiday weekend.  More plants got planted, I made and ate scones (finally got sultanas) and sat outside in the sun.  Today we are hoping to get even more plants planted and start setting up the watering system.  I do like watering all the pots and the lawns but it makes life easier if there is a system in place.

I have spent quite a bit of time in the craft room and I am getting more and more confident with Zoom.  I do love seeing everyone as I do miss the visits from friends.  I have planned a few Zoom get togethers this week to try our hand at another new card, insert and envelope making project.  I am doing my best to use up some papers that I have.

If you would like to join us on Zoom then please do get in touch.  I can pass on all the information you need.  If you dont yet know how to use Zoom let me know and I will do my best to help you with this.

There is just one week left to purchase anything from the Stampin' Up! catalogue before it changes over to a new one.  We shall be loosing lots of pretty colours

but they are being replaced by other pretty ones.  If you would like any card, ribbon or ink in the above colours then please, do get in touch so that we can get these ordered for you.  You can have them delivered straight to your door too if you wish or you are welcome to collect them from me.  You can order these yourself on line and I shall put a link below for you to go and look at my shop.  Again if you need any help, please get in touch as I am really happy to help if I can.

Today we hope to get out and clean up around the edge of the house in the streets. We live on a corner and the council no longer come and spray weed killer in the pavements and drains so it is starting to look untidy.  Hopefully by the end of the day it will look nice again.  The forecast is for another warm day so I hope we can do this early.

Thank you so much for having a read and anytime you fancy a chat, just email me and we can arrange a time.  Wishing you a terrific Tuesday.  Tracey x

Thank Yous

Good morning and it really is lovely and warm again this morning.  The forecast for Derby is hot and thunder showers so we shall see.

We had a lovely day yesterday crafting, virtually.  I am sure I have mentioned many times how much paper I have and I really am determined on using it up.  As well as making birthday gifts this year for all my crafting friends with papers I am trying out lots of different ways on cards and yesterday we used a one sheet wonder technique with a 6x6 piece of pretty flowered paper.

I teamed it up with lots of card colours and even made a matching envelope.  I am pleased to say that I finally used up a whole pack of paper, just a few more hundred packs to go.

I have listed below all the materials that I used to make these cards so that should you wish to order them, you know what to look for. If you need help with placing a Stampin' Up! order and dont have a demonstrator, please let me know.

I shall be showing folk how to do this again on Saturday using Zoom at 3pm.  If you would like to join us, you are most welcome.  If you dont know how to use Zoom yet, I am very happy to show you that too.  Just get in touch and we can sort out a time to do it.  My contact details are below.

I am having a sort out day today as each room is starting to have things in it that dont belong, if you know what I mean.  So I am up early before it gets too hot.  I shall also be going out around 7am to do a bit of sleuthing, looking for my gate.

Thanks for having a read and I hope you have a wonderful day.  Tracey
