Tuesday

Christmas Tag box already full

Good morning, a little warmer when I got up around 6am.  I hope it stays that way today as we do have a little more work in the garden to do.  We are having new fencing next week on the front so Paul and I are having to get rid of the old and put in the new.  If you need any fence panels for a bonfire please do let me know.

Try it Tuesday for me is to master a technique I have been trying to do for a while. Unfortunately I misread instructions so will try again today.  If it works, we shall be doing it on Zoom later in the week, if it doesnt work....plan B

Christmas card making is in progress.  There are lots of tags already made, in fact the box is nearly full.

This box has been my 'tag' box for many years, I have had to stick the paper on the outside down a couple of times but it really is a great box and all the family know where to look for tags. I received it as a gift quite a few years ago on a Stampin' Up' get together.

There are only a couple of days left to join Stampin' Up! and our little team

Please do get in touch if you would like any more information at all about this.

I have Mr Brown Van man visiting today.  This is the chappie that delivers all Stampin' Up! orders and a few ladies took advantage of the special offer last week where certain Stampin' Up! stamps were discounted by 15%.  If anyone would like to collect later today that would be great.

I shall be putting in an order tomorrow, the last one for September.  If you would like to place an order for anything please let me know by this evening.

Well I will go and get on with my day.  Thank you for having a read and I hope you have a terrific Tuesday x

Thursday

Friday

Happy Name Day Sophia

Good morning and another fantastic Friday.

Yesterday was Sophias name day.  According to Greek Orthodox tradition, nearly every day of the year is dedicated to some Christian saint or martyr. When someone in Cyprus is named after one of these saints, that saint's celebration day becomes their “name day” and is celebrated much like their actual birthday. Sophia means wisdom...mmmm. This is the card that I made for her and unfortunately, she didnt get it in time, fingers crossed it wont be too much longer.

So after a wonderful two day break away I feel a lot better, the 4 walls changed and I am starting to feel human again.  It is quite strange going out and seeing lots of other people but how great it was to be inthe fresh air.  We visited Chester Zoo and then had a day in Chester and Cheshire Oaks.  I wonder where our next mystery trip will be.

I hope you have a fantastic Friday and thank you for have a read today.  Tracey x

Tuesday

Tutti Fruitti Tuesday

Good morning.  We are off on an adventure today so no telephones, ipads or anything, this will be different.

I have been playing with the new Gorgeous Posies stamp set.  If you remember I made some thank you cards for this month.

So I had a play with them again in wonderful bright and sunny colours to match the bright and sunny weather we are having at the moment.  I think they are smashing.

I love the colours which are Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, So Saffron and Daffodil Delight.  I did a one sheet wonderful stamping, thanks to Ruth again, (this was my second attempt as the first one had no white space at all).  I have mounted the cards onto a Granny Green Apple matt which is then put on to a Mango Melody card base.  No sentiments as yet as I am waiting for the right time to add them as I need them. Totally Tutti Fruitti colours dont you think.  If you would like to know how to create this please get in touch as I will happily try to show you.

Have a terrific Tuesday and thank you for having a read.  Tracey x

Sunday

Thank You cards on a Sunday

Good morning and I do hope you are able to wear suncream today.  In Derby the forecast is extremely hot, an Indian Summer I am told.  It is a great way to end the week in my opinion although I do appreciate that not everyone likes the warmth.

What a smashing week I have had.  I think that I have seen (at a distance and very safely in my garden) everyone that I know from the crafting world.  It has been very strange to have to have a time slot for everyone but it these strange times, needs must.  Thank you to everyone that has been able to visit, it has been wonderful to see you and I think I have caught up with all that is happening in our world.

Here are some Thank You cards that I made for this month (I have to make a few more this morning as I have just about ran out).

I made three different colourways and all using the Gorgeous Posies stamp set from Stampin' Up!.  I saw this card on Pintrest, as you do and knew it was one that had to be made immediately.  Thank you to Julie Demittio for sharing this.  If you would like to find out a little more about the card please do let me know.

It is a little more gardening for me today, cooking the Sunday lunch of course and hopefully time in the craft room....I didnt get in there yesterday and I have lots going on that I would like to finish.

Thank you for having a ready and I wish you a smashing Sunday. Tracey x
