Saturday

Black Friday Bargains and Happy Birthday Granddaughter

Good morning.  Well after the warm week we have had, I asked hubby to check out the thermometer outside.  He cleaned it, checked the batteries etc. etc. and came to the conclusion that it states it is 6 degrees warmer than it really is, so this morning, showing me it is 4 degrees means that it really is -2.  We shall have to treat ourselves to a new thermometer in the January sales.....ooops.  So I apologise for all the wrong temperatures I have been giving out on my blog for the last few weeks but did anyone notice, really?

We did our first ever Black Friday trip out yesterday.  Paul said I got a couple of really good bargains which are early Christmas presents

Typical man comment but I really did get a couple of great deals.

It is our youngest granddaughter's birthday today and this is the card I made her

I also had a go at a money wallet

She wants to go to London to Winter Wonderland so we are going to be dog sitting there very cute dog for the weekend.
This is Frankie who will be with us, so cute.

It is our last crafting get together of 2019 today, what a year it has been,  Thank you to everyone who has been and I cant wait to do it all over again next year.  I already have the dates for February and March which I shall add to the blog later today.  If you would like to come along to any of the events, just get in touch.  If you would like me to come to you and you friends/family for a crafty morning, afternoon or evening, I would love to.

Stamperettes will be starting all over again in January and if you get your hands on the new Mini Brochure or Sale a Bration brochure you will see why, oh my.  Stamperettes is where 10 folk commit to spending £15 each month (around the 28th) for 10 months.  During these 10 months each person will be a hostess and get an ADDITIONAL £15 to spend.  On top of that, all p+p is 50p as it is collected from Alvaston (with a cuppa) or in a cafe (so that makes it a cuppa and cake).  You get free little thank yous some months, free catalogues throughout the 10 months and its a great way to get all your matching inks, cards, ribbons etc.  This will be happening for the 20th time so we know it works well.  If you would like to find out more please get in touch.  My contact details are on the right hand side.

Do you need/want anything from Stampin' Up! ?  There will be a little order going in again later today so if you do, let me know.

Well I had best get breakfast and ready for a lovely day ahead.  After our get together I am off to visit a craft fayre in Aston on Trent, just a few minutes away from me.  I went there this time last year and took my car out for the very first time, I cant believe I have had it for a year already.

Thanks for having a read and I hope you have a wonderful Saturday.

Wednesday

Still Scenes and a get together

Good morning and we are mid week already.  Time does fly by so quickly at times.

We had a day out yesterday doing a little shopping to help Santa.  It was lovely just to escape, well that is what it felt like.  Paul also had to go and have another hearing test.  Can you believe that the NHS dont do hearing aids anymore unless your hearing is a bit of a complex case.  We had to go to Spec Savers.  It was a good experience, staff were lovely and he came home with new hearing aids.  Now he just has to keep wearing them.

Today I have 1001 (okay maybe a slight exaggeration) but it feels like 1001 little jobs to finish in the craft room so I will be there for the day.  I am so looking forward to it as I know that by tonight, they should be all finished.

Do you fancy coming along to a card class on Saturday morning?

Please get in touch if you do.

Here is another card that has been made using the Still Scenes stamp set.  I have used a retired embossing folder on this to create the background.
It really is a set that cant be left alone.  You cant see the glitter in this, which is a shame.  But then we all know my photographic skills are not the best.  If you wanted to purchase stamps to make this card please do use the 'order here' button on the right hand side of the screen or give me a call.  If you are local, why not pop in today, I will always have time to put the kettle on.

Well I had best go and take the 'man of the house' his cup of tea, in bed.  I do this most mornings.  I think that after all the years he has had to get up to go to work, he can start his day relaxed.  Once he is up I will give him the list of jobs for today....terrible arent I.

Thank you so much for having a read and I hope you have a lovely day today.   Tracey x

Still Scenes on a Monday

Good morning and it says 14.7 degrees on my thermometer outside?  Great news as a few more plants need to be moved today.

The greenhouse has had a tidy up

We are getting it ready to pop the plants in to store them over winter.  Honestly if I dont nip in there every now and again a certain person gets it in a right mess.  Yes i do hoover it out but the polish is a no no.

Here is a lovely little climber that is just starting out.  Trisha gave it to us a few weeks ago and it has taken very well.  Hopefully next Spring it will shoot into action and we may see some flowers on it next year.

We had a smashing crafty night last night, thank you to everyone that came along.

These are the decorations for this year, just in the craft room.  It is starting to feel very Christmassy.
We are having a fuddle on 6th December, the menu sounds wonderful and next weekend it will be time to get everything organised for it.  I do love our get togethers.

Here is another card that has been made using the Still Scenes stamp set.

Today I need to learn how to make money wallets for the grand childrens Christmas presents as some are asking for money this year..... a sign that they are growing up.

I shall be putting a little order in for Stampin' Up! goodies later today.  If there is anything that you need (would like) please do get in touch and I will sort that out for you.

Thank you for having a read today and I hope you have a wonderful Monday x

Friday

Last day of the Extravaganza

Good morning.  I dont know if my thermometer has broken but it reads 12.5 degrees outside when I got out of bed.  Hope not as there are a few pottering jobs that need to be done outside today.

Awake since 4am so got up at half past.  I will be needing a nanny nap this afternoon.  Dad is doing very well and improving each day after his operation for a new shoulder.  Mum is also very well and is pottering around the house, as you do.  Thank to everyone for your kind wishes.

The Extravaganza has begun at Stampin' Up! and today is the last day that you can purchase discounted bundles as well as inks and A4 card. Here are the bundles that are on offer

On top of that, just look at the ink pads and cards that are in the sale. You may have to click on the image to read all the details.

It was nephews birthday at the weekend and this is the card that I took for him.  Its a really different card for me and I loved making it, many months ago.  Lots of different stamp sets were used, all retired now though.
It is a crafty get together this evening and I still have 101 little things to do so I will get on with that.

I hope to catch up with all the messages I have received over the last day or two, there have been lots of them, thank you.

If you would like to place an order for anything from Stampin' Up! please do get in touch as I will be submitting one around 6pm this evening.  If you dont already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator please get in touch as I would love to help, if I can.

Off to catch up with a few chores as it is far to early to message folk.  Thanks for having a read and I hope you have a fantastic Friday x

Tuesday

Countdown to Christmas, Extravaganza and a Terrific Tuesday

Good morning from a very chilly -2 in Derby this morning.  Winter has arrived and it looks lovely outside.  I did say look, I peeked out of the window, not going out there just yet.

We had our last crafty get together for the Advent Calendars last weekend and just look at all these lovely photos of what we have made.

You can still purchase these and at £28 they are brilliant and will last for many many years.  If you do want to grab one and would like to decorate it in The Craft Room please do get in touch.  Product details are all at the end.  Or you can contact me and I can tell you all about it over a cuppa.

Dad is getting better each day and today we are off to docs again.  Paul has now been retired for two weeks and is loving it.  He is hoping to catch up with lots of little jobs around the house and has already made a start on a few things, it is lazy mornings, relaxed lunches but no snoozing in the afternoon just yet.

Stampin' Up! are having an Extravaganza for three days starting tomorrow.  Discounted prices off selected items and here are the lists

You can go on line and order yourself and please, do put in the hostess code and your contact details.  I can then send you a little something in the post next month.  Alternatively you could get in touch with me and I shall get your goodies delivered here and you could nip in and collect once they have arrived.  To find out more, give me a call or send me an email.  Contact details are all on the right hand side.

We are having a crafty get together this Friday night and there are a few places available if you would like to join us.

Thank you for having a read today, I hope you manage to stay wrapped up and warm, I know I shall.  Wishing you a terrific Tuesday.  Tracey x
