Sunday

Free time

Good afternoon.  I am not too sure about all this ‘extra’ time on my hands.  Have had a very lazy day so far.  We are meeting the girls at 7pm this evening, well that is the plan at the moment.  Plans do change rather quickly here.

I have an email in the ether, or I think I have.  I could possibly have two as the internet crashed as I hit the send button on the first email and I lost the information.  Hopefully you will get one or the other, or even both.

Plans for February have been made and I shall update the blog with this news next.  There is a new group of Stamperettes starting in January and if you have seen the new catalogues, you will know why.  If you would like more information about joining our Stamperettes group please do let me know.  10 people will commit to spending £15 each month for a period of 10 months.  During this time, each person will be a hostess for one month which means that they get at least £15 to spend on anything they wish from the current catalogues.  This is going to be the 20th time that I am running this and it has always been a great success.  One way to build up your matching and co ordinating craft stash.

I shall be placing my last 2019 order on Tuesday from the Autumn/Winter catalogue, if you would like anything, please let me know.

Here is another Christmas card that got sent out.

In between Christmas and New Year, unsure of what day it is

Good morning and it’s up early today as Katerina is hosting Brunch.  I have to be sure I am not late which is something we have started doing, being late for things, so unlike me.

We made it to Jumbo yesterday, a very big store with everything that you can imagine.  I have purchased anything for the craft room yet but I am sure I will.

Speaking of craft room, I am getting excited by the prospects of its refurbishment and redecoration which we are planning on doing at the very beginning of January.  Time for a final sort out and a sale of pre loved items.

Here is a thank you card made in December but I can’t remember the name of the stamp, can you?

Thank You and Christmas cake

Good morning and today is a catch up day.  Thank you to everyone for all your wishes, hugs and thoughts.  We have spent a lovely time with the twins and our Cypriot family and today we are staying home, in the sunshine having a relaxing day (although I do hope to go to a major shop later).

Katerina got us a traditional English Christmas cake which we are eating with our coffee each morning and it is delicious.  Santa (Sophia  and Katerina) got Paul a small coffee machine and he is enjoying his coffee.

A Thank You card that went out earlier this month along with a little thank you.  This uses lots of ribbons and one that I really enjoyed making.

No snowmen for me

Good morning. A very cloudy day today but still very warm, so no complaints from me.

Yesterday was the memorial service for Christiana.  This is for the one year after her passing, on the Sunday prior to the actual date.  We went to the church for the service and then the cemetery where the grave is blessed.  This is followed by a meet up of friends and family at the family home.  It all went well but my emotions were very emotional.

It is lovely spending time with the twins and they are now on holiday for a few days, even better. Katerina is in her new apartment, which is lovely and tomorrow she is having some friends over.  We will do a few snacks and of course, I will make a lemon cake.   I also hope to catch up with some new technology on my iPad, now that I have time to sit and relax....whenever that is.  I do enjoy not rushing around.

I shall be putting in an order from Stampin’ Up! just before the end of the month.  If you would like anything, please do let me know and we can get it for you.  There are quite a few new items on the clearance rack that are worth taking a look.

Here is another Christmas card that was made at the Christmas card and Chatter nights.

Crafty goodies

Good morning, another sunny day.  Yesterday I met a lovely lady who dropped off lots of stamps and a guillotine so I can craft whoop whoop.

I just have to go to the local taxi company and pick up my on line order and I am sorted.

Here are some more cards that were made at the monthly Christmas card and Chatter night.  These were sent out to neighbours.

Thursday

Christmas cards, gonk and pancakes

Good morning.  The sun has got his hat on so we are up early to enjoy it.

I got myself a gonk on a trip out with Katerina last week and she also purchased one for her new apartment.  Sophia couldn’t come out with us but we managed to buy her one too.

Here are another couple of cards made.

I did manage to have a rest yesterday. Katerina took me out for a pancake and goodness me, it was wonderful. Sophia managed to join us too.

After that we all went to get a real Christmas tree for Sophia as she like them.  Today we need to find her some decorations for it.

My next order will be going into Stampin’ Up! Next week.  If there is anything you would like please, do get in touch.

Wednesday

More snowmen

Good morning and it’s wonderful weather today.  A day at home though as yesterday I overdid it slightly.  Nothing too much but after coffee with sis in law, collecting card stock from a lovely crafter (I left my card in the craft room), a nice lunch with hubby we went and spent an hour or so at the cemetery.  Paul dug up weeds, we trimmed the flowers and had a general clean up.  Did a little shopping and went home to cook dinner for the girls.  It was gone 10.30 by the time we sat down so a bit jaded today.  So I have spent the morning ordering a few craft supplies to come here, so excited lol.

I don’t think I have shared these cards with you but if I have oops.  All coloured in with SU watercolour pencils.  The background in a blue wash using balmy blue ink but it does look darker in the photograph.

Paulas makes

Good morning and the sun is out today, phew.  I thought we were going to end up with webbed feet.  My shoes are still drying out.  Had a wonderful day yesterday, put up a Christmas tree at Katerinas and it’s looking very festive.

Off to meet some fellow crafters this morning, very exciting.

Here are some treats that Paula has made recently using the Stampin' Up curvy keepsake die as well as the pretty tab top punch.  The cards are using a retired die that no one can part with, it such a great one.

Thank you Paula for sharing these lovely makes.  I adore the way that the card lights up.

Saturday

Very wet and Christmas card

Good morning, we had a lovely day shopping yesterday in the Mall.  Katerina was after a couple of bits for the apartment as it is moving in weekend.

More rain is forecast for today and the rain causes some flooding in a storage area we have.  So much so that earlier this week it not only flooded the storage area but the general hallway and the lift, causing the lift to break.  Oops, at least I get a bit more exercise each day, ouch.

Here is another Christmas card made, very different from previous ones but I shall be making more of these in the New Year.

Another Christmas card

Good morning.  Very wet here but it isn’t cold. A day out looking for Pauls Christmas present today, which will be interesting.  He has asked for a feather pillow.

A new group of Stamperettes will commence at the end of January.  If you would like to know more, please do get in touch.

Here is another hand made card that has been sent out, loved making these.

Tuesday

Terrific Tuesday

Good morning.  Weather is due to be around 10 degrees today but wet and windy.  That is about the same for the girls weather, wet and windy but at about 20 degrees, lucky them.

So I am all ready for Christmas.  Presents have been delivered, all cards have been sent and now I can put my feet up for a while and enjoy each day, if you know what I mean.

Here is one of the cards that have gone out from the Stampin' Up! Peaceful Noel stamp set which has now retired.  Again, I started these last year and didnt manage to finish them.

In Cherry Cobbler and very Vanilla I think these look very festive.  Another stamp set that will stay on my shelf as I can see a lot of other cards being made with the elements.

Dont forget the Stampin' Up! have a free shipping day tomorrow.

If you would like me to place an order for you I would be very happy to do this later on in the day.  Just get in touch and I will help as best I can.

I have a few things to do today so will go and make a start.  Thank you for having a ready and I hope you have a terrific Tuesday.  Tracey x

Monday

FREE SHIPPING

Good morning and another Monday morning soon comes around.

Here is another card that I rescued.  I had quite a few all stamped out and coloured in from a couple of years ago, they just needed a sentiment and an insert.

I always seem to make a lot of different cards but dont get to finish them off but this year I have been determined to get rid of my "half finished cards" to make a little more space in the Craft Room.

Stampin' Up! are have a day of free postage on Wednesday. A great chance to stock up on some pretty items and get it shipped to your door FREE of charge.

If you need more information, please do get in touch and please, do use the Hostess Code if you place an order.

I have a busy day of 'last minute' bits and pieces.  Trying to finalise lots of little outstanding chores as best I can.  Dad has asked me to cut his hair and mum would like to nip out.  We also get to visit the aunts today too and put the last of the cards in the post.

Thanks for having a read today and if I can help in anyway with regards to crafting, please do get in touch.  Tracey x

Saturday

Penguins on a Saturday

Good morning and it’s another warm one by the sounds of things. It’s already 10 degrees here but more rain is due.

We had a fantastic evening last night.  Lots of lovely folk came for our Christmas fuddle. We played crafty bingo, ate lots of wonderful food and made a couple of projects. We really did have a great time.  I am already looking for a date for next years.  Sadly no photographs but we do have happy memories.

Here is a card that has been made and sent out.  Coloured in with copics and decoupaged.

We have a relaxing day today once a few chores are done.  Off to see family and friends and no doubt I will be getting some crafting done in between too.  Thank you for having a read and Inhope you have a smashing Saturday x

Friday

Happy Birthday Kirsty

Good morning and I certainly have that Friday feeling.  It is also 10 degrees outside (Mr. Weatherman said, not my broken weather station).  The forecast is for rain but never mind, I can cope with that.

Today is my neices birthday and this is the card I have made for her

It is a big one, A4 and one that I have loved making.  I do hope she will like it.  I have put 30 £1 coins on it for her to treat herself, opps, I just see Paul in the background of this photo *gigggles*

I am off into town this morning, quite early on and just for an hour.  I have to purchase bingo books as tonight there will be a group of us playing crafty bingo.  The prizes are all wrapped and ready but struggling to get the books.  We shall also have a couple of makes and takes too.  Really looking forward to it.

Thanks for having a read today and I hope you have a fantastic Friday.  Tracey x

Thursday

Happy Birthday Pam

Good morning

The weather at the moment is very gray. We got caught out in a storm last night and I have never been so frightened driving back.  The roads were flooded, it was lightening and thundering, the rain was coming down in bucket loads and idiots on the road were over taking grrr......

This is the card that I made for Pam, one that had to be done in advance.  I know that Pam likes Penny Black stamps/images, hoping she has a great birthday.

Stampin' Up! Christmas wrapping paper, advent calendars and a thank you

Good morning.

I have been very busy making my own paper for Christmas this year.  I nip in to the craft room for 10 minutes at a time and do a little.  I have used a retired Stamp set but one I just couldnt part with.

It has been enjoyable to do this but for next year, I will start a little earlier, at our Christmas and Chatter nights.  If you would like to come along and join us in February you are more than welcome.  We try and get a head start on Christmas cards/presents so that at this time of year, there is no panic.  And of course, its great to have a get together to put the world to rights.

I have a day of nipping in and out today.  Lots of little things to purchase and to finalise everything for the birthday fairies.  The craft room is all set up for a group of friends tomorrow night and fingers crossed, we shall have a lovely evening of craft bingo, make and takes as well as lots of wonderful food and plenty of laughs.  I cant wait.

Last week Shawn and Ann came over for the day to make up the Advent Calendars.  We had a lovely morning of chatting and both left very happy (Shawn is a little camera shy but here is his calendar).

I am so pleased that you will be able to purchase these calendars, along with lots of other products in the current Autumn/Winter brochure next year.

I have quite a few Thank You cards in stock so I shall be sending these out this month along with a little thank you from me.
This is just one of the cards.....more to follow.

I am up very early this morning so will make a slow start to the day.  I dont expect hubby to get up just yet.  We went out last night (second time in three dayss oops).  A part of the Rolls Royce group throw a Christmas buffett /party each year for all its retirees and as we are both retirees, we went along last night for the first time.  How wonderful is was to see everyone, lots of folks that I really dont know but plenty that I did.  It was very nice and we shall certainly go back again.

Thank you for having a read today and I hope you have a great Thursday.  Tracey x

If you dont already have a demonstrator and would like to order some of these products or find out a little more, I am always happy to help.

Here is a Chrsitmas card made with some card, inks and a die.  This one does have glitter on, for a change.

I have a day at home today and the list is ready.  I cant cope without a list as I find that I dont get anything done.  Using the new, amazing, brilliant hoover is definately on the list, I dont know why I didnt get one of these before.  I can certainly recommend the shark.

Off to start my day but thank you for having a ready and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday.  Tracey x
