Sunday

Feels like home and upcoming get togethers

Good morning, I was up very early this morning so going to make a start on a few chores before finishing off bits in the craft room.  Today is a day that I have decided to just take things a little slower (if that is possible), recharge the batteries and get myself ready for a busy week ahead.

We had a get together using the Feels Like Home stamp set which you could get for FREE during Sale a Bration.  If you missed out and would like to get one of these stamp sets please, do get in touch.  We made a variety of cards and this was one of them.

Inspired by Pinterest I used the Bricks and Mortar Embossing folder and lightly blended over it using Cajun Craze Ink and one of the Blending Brushes before sticking it onto a card base.

The Feels Like Home image was stamped onto a piece of Basic White card using Black Momento Ink and cut out with one of the dies from the Rectangle Dies.  This was then very lightly coloured in using a variety of Blend Pens.   The flower pot image was stamped and coloured in the same way and then adhered to the 'inside' of the card.

No sentiment as yet as I am unsure which occasion I shall use it for, hello, thinking of you, new home, missing you etc. etc.  It can have lots of different sentiments on it. I have a full list below of everything that I used to make this card and you can find them by clicking on one of the items on the list.  If you would like me to order anything for you, please do let me know and I shall add it to my next order which is going out later this week.

Do you fancy a little crafting with us this week? On Tuesday we have an evening of making up these cards with the Christmas Whimsey kit and it is an evening I am so looking forward to.  Stampin' Up! have done all the work for us.

If you have the kit and would like to join us, you really are more than welcome, it will be lovely to see you.  Just let me know and bring your kit with you.

On Thursday we are having the first of our Crafty Week nights.  We shall make at least two cards, there will be freshly baked cakes and hopefully lots of crafty chatter and laughter.  There are a couple of spaces available if you would like to come along and join us.

If you would like a little more information, please do get in touch, all my details are below.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday and thank you so much for having a read.  Tracey x
