DAY EIGHT- Join Stampin' Up!

Good morning and what a start to the week I have today.  Finally I have an appointment at the lympodema clinic

5 years ago I went to my 'then' doctors with a problem with my legs.  For 3 1/2 years I was given lots of creams to try, tablets to try and kept getting told it will clear up.  18 months ago the doctor said I have lymphodema and I asked her if I could be referred to the specialist clinic.  She said no, you must wait until your skin splits, you are in pain or the situation changes "huh".  I changed doctors.  My new doctor referred me more or less straight away and finally I have an appointment.

I cant tell you how awful I feel about my legs, I go for treatment every couple of months, I have them massaged at least once a day and I have to be on steroid cream for two weeks out of 4.  Fingers crossed I can get some help today.  It really does get me down, I will let you know how I get on.

After the appointment we are off on a chuffer...that is what we used to call it when we were small.  The start of another adventure.  Typical that there are strikes but it all adds to the excitment of the day.
