DAY EIGHT - Garden Meadow and so much news

Good morning it is such a cold day in our neck of the woods however, the birds are singing away outside the window. I think its a blackbird or two, such a wonderful sound to hear.

I would grab a cuppa if I was you as there is so much to tell you.

Today I have hospital appointments to go to so its a case of de-icing the car and getting it warm before venturing out. It is a good job that the times are a little later so hopefully, the roads will be clear but the temperatures wont be getting up much above freezing.

Here is a card that I have had a play with for a friend that like to do a bit of gardening.

I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to stamp out the image and then coloured it in with Stampin' Up! Blending Pens. I really enjoyed making this. I wasnt too sure about embellishments but now that I see it in the photo, I will go and add a few. I layered the image on more white card. The stamp set Garden Meadow and the co-ordinating dies are currently on the last chance list and at £10.80 for the bundle, its a bargain. They will co-ordinate perfectly with a brand new of gardening stamps that have only just been released.
