Good morning. Yesterday was a very productive day for saying that I didnt have a to do list nor any plans. I managed to get so much sorted out, photographs filed, ironing done, a couple of hours in the craft room as well as an hour with mum and dad.
Today I do have a to do list though. It is Ikea at some stage and then I am prepping a few card kits. Oh I do love to do that. I will spend an hour with mum and dad as mum is really struggling. The doctor believes that she has had a stroke, which would have been Christmas Day night time or on Boxing Day. She has refused to go to the hospital and dad doesnt want her to go either. At the moment the local hospital is full to capacity and dad believes she will get better care at home. Unfortunately, she no longer has any co-ordination with her hands and her arms to do anything. This is such a cruel illness as lots of folks know.
Yesterday I played with the Stampin' Up! Frames and Flowers and the possibilities are endless. This is the card that I made
I have used Soft Sea Foam card for the base card and a piece of the Designer Series Paper that is inside the Frames and Flowers pack. I have added a sentiment to one of the frames from the Notes of Nature stamp set which has retired but it is one that I just cant part with. I adhered additional elements to the frame, again from the pack. Not having used too much ephemera in recent years I really enjoyed having a play with this. The full details are below.
