Saturday

Thank You using Art Gallery

Good morning and its the weekend.  The weather forecast isnt the best but that doesnt matter too much.

We have Frankie with us.  Frankie is our granddaughters dog and she is in love with Paul.  They will spend the whole weekend together and she cries when he is not in the room with her.  She does make us laugh and we are glad that we can help out.  It does mean that if you do come to visit us, all the gates will be locked so you will have to message us to let you in.

I am really pleased to say that I have now lost over half a stone (4 Kilos) since starting on my 'mindful and fasting' diet.  I am really enjoying the thinking behind it all and believe I understand how it all works together with everyday life.  I am not weighing and measuring but more questioning and it is suiting me down to the ground.  I am getting support from a lovely lady and feel that I am in control of what I eat, which is such a change.  Fingers crossed I can loose a little more this week too.

A few thank you cards have been made using the Art Gallery stamp set which uses a 'two step' stamping technique.

The oval areas were created using the Blending Brushes from Stampin' Up! and some 'In Color' inks.  The stamps were stamped out and then the sentiment from Peaceful Moments stamp set (which has some lovely sentiments).   Vicki Collins, a fellow Stampin' Up! team member shared cards that she made and I thought they were lovely so I did a 'CASE' (copy and share everything) of them and added my own little twist.  She has told me that she did the same from another demonstrator.  It is so nice being part of the Stampin' Up! family.

This is what was used to make the cards Product List

Here is the brand new Mini Catalgoue that came out earlier this week.  If you click on the image below it will take you straight to have a look at a PDF copy of it.  If you would like a hard copy of this I will be very happy to get one to you. You are also welcome to pop into the Craft Room, Derby and pick one up.  Just get in touch in advance so that I know you hope to visit.

As well as the new mini catalogue, which is full of wonderful ideas and colours, from now until 30th September we have the Sale a Bration.  If you are unsure what this is.....every time you place an order of £45 or more, you get to choose something for FREE from the sale a bration brochure.  Again, I have added a PDF to the brochure in the image below
