Natures Harvest

Good morning.  Well I have woken up feeling a little more human so lets hope that by the end of the day, all side effects have gone.   I should have been taking a drive out to a local pottery where there is a lovely cafe.  I was hoping to meet up with some friends but I am just not up to it which is such a shame.  There should be plenty of other opportunities though.

Last week we had a Creative Crew session.  That is where a few of u sit down in the craft room with a stamp set and pack of paper and create cards.  With the help of the internet (as well as tea, cakes and sausage rolls)  we came up with quite a few samples.  We used the Natures Harvest stamp set along with the Harvest Meadow papers.  Here is one of the cards made.

A Soft Succulent card base was created. A Basic White Layer was added and then 4 strips of the Havest Meadow Designer Series paper was placed on top, making sure that the pattern followed through to the bottom of the card.  The sentiment has been stamped in the same Soft Succulent ink onto a Basic White piece of card.  A large circle of vellum was put behind the sentiment, making sure that the edge of the sentiment piece was rounded off to match the circle of vellum.   Adhered to the top of those is the lovely flower, again stamped out in Soft Succulent.  Finally finished off with the gems.

We are using the Natures Harvest stamp set and papers in our crafty get togethers this month.  In fact there is one place available tomorrow
