Charming sentiments and Julies Birthday card

Good morning, another wonderful day of sunshine.  A trip to the beach a little later today.  Some sorting out to do first, a visit to the charity shop and catching up with the washing.  One of the benefits of having lots of sunshine is that the heat dries the washing in a matter of an hour or two.  Craft box has been sorted and all put away again, I am so pleased that nothing is getting damaged by the heat and that the glues are all still working fine.

Speaking of crafting here is a card that I made for Julies birthday which is today.  Julie is on holiday in Turkey but she took it with her and has opened it, so I know it is safe to share with you.

This card was created using the stamp set Wonderful World which was FREE with Sale a Bration, along with the co-ordinating papers. The stamps were gently scribbled on using Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Write markers.  We had a Stampin’ Social get together earlier in the month where we all had a play with these markers.  It means that you can use them rather than ink pads and the bonus is, you can have more than one colour on every stamp. The image was then mounted on to co-ordinating card (don’t we just love the way that Stampin’ Up! has everything to match and co-ordinate).  A strip of the free papers was adhered to a card base and the image was attached with dimensionals.  Did you notice the sentiment?  I used my new favourite stamps and dies Charming Sentiment.

The stamp set is £22 and the bundle is £49.50
