Monday with Fitting Floretts and a Stampin' Up! Seasonal Sale

Good morning, a new start to another week, again.

At long last the loft now has a little extra insulation and it has all been cleared out.  We have a few suitecases, the Christmas decorations and empty boxes up there and nothing else.  That really has been a great job well worth doing.  The next task is the kitchen cupboards.  I want to go through them all, one by one and see what we really need and what we dont.  Then the kitchen needs a coat of paint and some filling as one or two small cracks have appeared.  Of course there is always the garden, the chores and everything else that has to be done, we do like to keep ourselves busy.

Today I am in the craft room working on the last of the Christmas cards as I do want to start handing them out at the end of the month.  The ones for posting will go out early as well.  Then I can continue with Christmas shopping.

I had a little play with the new Fitting Florettes collection and CASED (copied and selectively edited) a card that was created by Claire Daly.   I love the fact that you can purchase the stamp set on its own, get the dies a little later, even get the bundle (both dies and stamps) or the whole collection.  All details of what I have used are below and if you click on the picture, it brings up even more information about each item.

I have used Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride card and ink as well as the pretty Designer Series Papers, Dies and Stamp Set.  I cant wait to have another play.

I created a C6 card base from Blushing Bride card.  The pretty Designer Series Paper was attached to the card.  Using both Smoky slate, Basic White and Blushing Bride card, I die cut out the frames.  Stamped the sentiment in Smoky Slate ink and then layered them all up.  I die cut the flowers again out of all three colours of card but went with just the white ones in the end.  The little flower was fussy cut from the Designer Series Paper.  Finished off with a double bow and stuck it in place with the Tomboy glue.  Did you notice the little heart?  This can out of another heart frame, so now I have lots of little hearts to use.
