Wednesday

Back on line along with Dainty Delight

Good morning. I know the internet is not quite the same when you are on your holibobs, it can be a bit slow but goodness, here there was nothing.  No internet means no tv so it has certainly been a bit strange.  We have been nipping here there and everywhere to try and keep in touch with everyone, bars, cafes and visiting my girls has been, don’t mind if I just look at my phone for a while do you *giggles*

Well yesterday the internet repair men came.  They were here for a few minutes and told us ‘you don’t have an antenna.  Some one has stolen it!’ So off to the roof we went.  It was true, the antenna was not on the pole it had been fixed to.  It was however on the floor on another part of the roof?  Repair men said sometimes, big birds can sit on it and break it off.  A coincidence that there were men working on the roof the day the internet stopped working.  Never mind, we are all up and running again. (I just wish I had seen the bird that moved the antenna to the other part of the roof).

During our crafty get together a couple of weeks ago, we all made a variation of one of these lovely Dainty Delights Cards.  Some had beautiful embossed backgrounds, coloured mats and delicately painted images.  We used Sahara Sand ink to stamp out the images as once you add a little water colour to it, the Sahara Sand seems to disappear.  I haven’t tried all the new ink colours to see if I can do it with one of those as the Sahara sand retired.  We used Very Vanilla card and only a small amount of water to mix our colours and they all turned out very well. If you use too much water, the fibres in the card can become all puckered.

The matching envelope and gift tag are perfect for that special person, I do love a set.  The brushed brass butterflies, linen thread just finished the card off.

Do you fancy a share in one of the discounted paper packs?  If you do please let me know as we shall be having a paper party in July and it would be wonderful if you could join in with us.

Thank you for having a read today, I do hope you have a wonderful Wednesday. Tracey x
