Friday

Dainty Delight stamp sets meets Countryside Inn Designer Series Papers

Good morning, another early start but a tad warmer than normal.

After a really bumpy start to this adventure on Wednesday,  yesterday was a day of emptying cases, making beds and generally getting ourselves sorted phew.  Hopefully today will be a lot less taxing.  Went off for a visit to the seamstress and yikes.  Not quite what I was expecting.  My dress for Katerinas wedding has a decorative lace top with satin and chiffon body.  Unfortunately the lace and chiffon are not close in colour at all and the contrast does not go together.  So this morning I am meeting the lovely seamstress as the lace shop as it has to be changed, oh my.

Now the dress she has made Sophia is amazing, the bridesmade dressers are out of this world and all the other bits she is doing are done.  I have every confidence in her.

Hoping to go to a festival tonight….oh nothing heavy, just a strawberry festival in a village about half an hour away.  It should be something different and fun.  Photos will be shared.

At the catalogue launch recently, along with my 15th anniversary year with Stampin’ Up! one of the makes and takes was this card.  Alison did a demonstration on how to make this book bind card using the Dainty Delight stamp set, teamed up with Night of Navy card and the Countryside Inn Designer Speciality papers. The Night of Navy ribbon and a brushed Brass Butterfly finishes it all off.

These papers are one of the packs that are on Special Offer this month.  If you would like to join in the Paper Party and grab a pack, or even half a pack, do let me know. I shall place an order towards the end of the month for the Paper Party.

Thank you for having a read today.  I do hope you have a fantastic Friday x
