DAY THIRTY TWO - cards, get togethers and crafting accessories to make crafty life a little easier

Good morning.  After a very slow day yesterday, with lots of rests and bed before 9am, I have woken up feeling refreshed and ready to start the day, at 5am.

Its going to be get the washer on day, do a few chores and then catching up with the Craft Room, which I did discover once Mr. A took the garden chairs and table out of it.  A bit of dusting required, a little hoovering and a wipe down and we are ready to go.

First day of February, day thirty two of the new year and I am so looking forward to this month.  We start tomorrow with a get together in the evening to make Christmas cards and bits called Festive Friday and I shall be getting everything prepared today.  I love getting ready for our crafty get togethers.

Next week we have our In Color Club get together on Thursday.  We shall all have a play with the In Colours of Stampin' Up! and hopefully come up with a few cards using these colours only.  Here are theStampin' Up! In Colors if you didnt already know.  You can get card, ink, Stampin' Write Markers, Blend Pens, Designer Series Papers, embellishments, refills, ribbons etc all in the same colours so that they match and co-ordinate perfectly.  If you would be interested in purchasing something from these colours, I will be very happy to show you what there is.

I shall share all our makes with you and must make a note to photograph them.

I also have get togethers organised for a One Sheet Wonder.  This is where you stamp on a piece of blank card with various stamps, in different colours. You can also add some stencilling and words.  This stamped card then becomes card fronts which you matt and layer onto card bases.  Oh it is a wonderful technique and if you fancy having a go, there are one or two spaces availabe but, you will have to book rather quickly.  I have organised one for a morning, afternoon and an evening in the hopes that everyone can find a time to suite them.

I am due to go into hospital during the month of February and am waiting for an exact date. This of course could all be postponed (for the second time) due to all the delays so I opted to plan for the month but keep reminding folk that things may be postponed.

Whilst we were away it was Aunt and Uncles Anniversary and I had great fun re making a card I had made previously.

This is what I sent out to them using an older Stampin' Up! stamp set.  I really do need to make a few more anniversary cards.....note to myself.

I think I have shared this picture with you before, it is the glue holder that hubby made for me.  One of my crafting friends saw it and asked for one so he made quite a few of them, they are so useful.

I then asked if he could make something for me to store my ink refills in and viola, he has made this for me

It is so useful as I can now keep them all in one place and the good thing is, they are stackable too so take up less space on my craft table.  Today is is working on a glue gun holder which was requested.    Should you wish to find out more about anything that Mr. A has created, do let me know.

Well, I have sat here long enough so I will go and start my day, such a lovely one to look forward to.  Thank you so much for getting this far, if you read it all and I wish you a wonderful start to the month of February.  Tracey x
