DAY SIXTY ONE - White Rabbits along with Notes of Nature Bundle

Happy new month.  I am keeping my fingers crossed that we get a little bit warmer weather now that Spring is just around the corner but it wont arrive today.

The greenhouse has had a clean and a tidy up.  The seed trays have been washed and one has been filled.  The sweet peas have been planted.  All we have to do now is wait for 21 days and keep our fingers crossed.  I have also put some in a pot in the kitchen window sill, love the idea of starting to get things ready to add colour to our garden.  I will keep you posted.

Unfortunately mum is in our local hospital.  Her blood sugars are sky high and her oxygen count is very low so she has been in for a few days. We are hoping that she will be home today feeling a lot better.

I went to our local community get together earlier in the week for a game of bingo and to play Uno.  I cant tell you how much I laughed and boy did I need it.  Such a fantastic evening and to top it off, I managed to win whoop whoop.  Bingo and Uno night is held once a fortnight and is a great place to get out to, socialise with others and more than anything, have a laugh and get a bit of normality.  I certainly feel so much better after our get together.  If you are local to Derby and fancy a few hours out every other week please, do get in touch with me and I can let you have all the details.

Not much crafting has been done this week but I did manage to create another card for a birthday later in the month using the wonderful Notes of Nature bundle.

  • It started off with the Fern embossing folder as a background.
  • A strip of the Notes of Nature Designer Series Paper which has beautiful gold writing on it.
  • I mounted this on some Pebble Path card and raised it on dimensionals.
  • Die cut out a few of the leaves from the bundle in the pretty distressed gold papers.
  • Die cut out birthday wishes from the same distressed gold papers.
  • Put it all together making sure that some of the leaves were not glued down so that they could fall over the Designer Series Paper and stick up a little.

I really did enjoy making this card and love the bundle. All the information of what I used is at the end of this post.
