Card Inspiration

Sunday

DAY - ONE HUNDRED AND NINE - Thank you cards with a new 2026- 2028 In Color

Good morning, I am having one of those beautiful early starts today, the kind where the world is still quietly waiting for the birds to begin their morning choras.  For a change I beat them to it this morning.  I was in bed early and this is the consequence but I am pleased to say that I have had a good 7 hours sleep.  As soon as my head hit the pillow that was it, out like a light.

Friday evening and yesterday morning saw the Craft Room full of lovley folk, lots of teas and coffees made and home made cake too.  As the brand new Stampin' Up! catalgoue is arriving in May, we had a relaxed little get togther to browse through it and soak up the newness together.  I must stay that it is an absolute treat, full of beautifully colour co-ordinated delights, fresh inspiration and gorgeous new products that are waiting to be discovered.  The layout of the catalogue is much improved compared to last year and with there only being 3 catalogues a year, rather than 1 Annual Catalogue and 3 mini ones, I think this is a wonderful way forward. More news on coming up in a few days.

Do you remember those little envelopes I shared recently using retired Stampin' Up! Designer Sereis Papers? These were the thank you cards tucked inside them.  I used the Nature’s Symphony stamp set which you will be able to find in the May - August Stampin' Up! Catalogue, paired with one of the new blending pens to create that soft, gentle look. The sentiment is from a well-loved retired set that hadn’t seen ink in quite some time, which made it all the more special to use again—especially in one of the new In Colors. The punch is one from my stash which is many years old and one of my early Stampin' Up! purchases, still used most weeks of the year in one way or another.

And that tiny butterfly embellishment… such a sweet finishing touch, also in the same In Color, bringing everything together so beautifully.

I have been asked to share how the envelopes have been made so, a get together has been added to the calendar, its on Monday 13th July so please, save the date and join us for a fun filled few hours.  I shall tell you more, nearer the time.

Well, I had best get myself in the shower and start my day.  It is getting light outside now and I hear folk moving around.  Thank you so much for having a read and I hope you have a smashing Sunday.  Tracey x
